As John walks himself to the infirmary, he thinks of his only friend in this school from Hell. One of the most influential people in the entire private school. Sitting there alone on the roof waiting for John to return to her, her dyed purple and yellow hair waving in the light breeze. Probably on her phone, John thinks.
He opens the door to the infirmary and is met with a sigh from the school nurse. The man that everyone simply calls "Doc".
"What is it this time, John?"
"Um," John replies weakly. "A broken arm."
"How many times do I have to tell you to watch yourself? Do you really have to die before you understand?" The Doc yells as his eyes flash yellow as he mixes a green liquid.
John yelps. "AH! Calm down, Doc. I said I'm sorry!"
Doc hands the glass of bitter green liquids to John. "Drink this. It will heal your arm in three hours."
"Thanks." John chokes down the green substance down.
"Luckily you only ran into one 'Stone-boy' today. If you'd pissed off any one of the higher tiered students... then even I couldn't do much to sav-."
"Yeah, yeah. I understand, Doc.
Doc turns around and sighs once again. "I'm gonna lose my job one day because of you," Doc mutters to himself.
John stands and begins to walk from the infirmary. "Don't worry about me. I will be more careful."
"Where do you think you're going?" John freezes. "Nice try, but you know the drill. Sit."
"Shit." John whispers to no one but himself."
"You're not going anywhere until you are healed. I will notify the rest of your teachers that you will not be attending anymore of your classes for the remainder of the day."

Her phone beeps and vibrates as the stream of texts fill the screen. A bright smile covers her face as she reads.
HeLp! SAvE mE!
Where are you?
Soft footsteps echo down the hallway as she walks down the stairs and into the doorway. The Doc looks up from the paperwork sitting on his desk. "Oh great. The other one has arrived."
"Where is he?"
"Over there," Doc points to the only closed curtain in the room.
The white curtain is pulled back and John is seen sitting on the bed watching his phone intently. "John..."
John whips around startled. "Ah! Sera!"
She shoves her phone into John's face. "What's this about?"
Quietly John says, "You really don't waste any time, do you?"
"Well?"
"I'm dying of boredom. The Doc won't let me leave for another three hours!"
Sera laughs. "Ha! Sucks for you! Well, I got to get back to class. I'll remember not to wait for you after class. See ya!"
"What! Who are you kidding? You never go to class! Come on! Help out a friend! Keep me company."
Beeping fills the room as the two friends battle each other for the top high score in the newest game, Slappy Pig.
John side glances at Sera with a strange stare pasted onto his face. "What's that creepy look for?" Sera asks.
"I'm glad you asked." John chuckles before turning his phone so Sera can see the screen. "Check. This. Out. 187 points. Looks like there is a new champ in town!"
"Hm. Pretty good. But..." Sera turns her phone around so the light shines into John's eyes.
"What! 212? Are you fucking kidding me? That doesn't count! You cheated!"
"What? Just because I used my power. Not my fault you don't have one."
"You..." The building starts violently shaking as if there is an earthquake right beneath the school.
"What was that?" Sera asks.
