A few months later, today is my first day at Dunkin Donuts. I'm kind of nervous but I'll get over it soon enough. I get out of bed and put my uniform on that the manager had gave me. After, I walked into Ellie's bedroom and found her in her own bed with Jake Paul vlogs on, on my phone. I lent on the door and smiled at her but she didn't notice I was there. A few minutes later, the door bell went. The babysitter for Ellie. We had known the babysitter for years, he was basically Ellie's dad. Well the closest she'll get for a dad. I went down stairs and opened the front door for Logan to walk in. Logan walked in and sat at the only seat in the apartment, the dining chair. We had a lot of furniture but when I dumped Blake he totally crashed the place and left without even saying bye to his own daughter. Ellie saw all of it happen well she may not of seen it but she was there watching Jakes vlogs. Then it clocked in my little brain that Logan and Jake have both got the second name as Paul. But Logan has never mentioned having a brother and Logan is never on Jakes videos. I looked over at Logan, who was now on his phone, suspiciously and walked over to the fridge. Which had no food in. I let out a groan which caught Logan's attention. "What's up?" He questioned while putting his phone away. "no food," I stated. "I'll get you and Ellie something on the way there." He answered. "No, you don't have to, you don't even have to drive me there... I'll get an Uber." "No you won't." Logan snapped.
Ten minutes later, Ellie walked in with my phone in her hands and stood by Logan. Logan looked down at the phone and saw Jake, his face changed in a way. It went from happy to kind off annoyed. But he didnt say anything. "What time do you have to be there?" he finally asked. "9 o'clock," I replied while putting my shoes on. It was already 8:30 so we had plenty of time. "Ellie, would you like to get McDonalds for breakfast?" Logan asked Ellie. "But, ma doesnt have enough money." Ellie stated, which was true. "Ill buy it for you." Ellie smiled and ran up to Logan to give him a hug. "Logan, your the best." Logan just smiled. It was like he was still annoyed about the video for some reason. "Ellie, Can you go put your shoes on please?" I ask her. "Logan can you put them on for me?" she says with a smile on her face. "Go get them then," he says rolling his eyes playfully and smiling at the same time. I smile while watching them. Logan and Ellies relationship was literally my favourite ever.
Ellie comes running back with her pink trainers and puts them on Logans lap. "Ellie, where's my phone?" I question. "I put it on the table." She points to the counter where my phone actually was. "Thanks princess." She smiles and sits on Logans lap where he had patted for her to sit. While Logan puts Ellies shoes on, I made sure everything I need was in my bag.
After a few minutes, Logan had Ellie in his arms and he was walking towards the front door. I started walking towards the door grabbing the keys on the way. When we were outside the door, I locked the door while Logan was walking down the stairs having a conversation with Ellie in his arms. By the time I had locked the door Logan had already made it all the way down the stairs.
I jogged down the stairs and walked to where I could see the top of Logans fluffy hair. He was putting Ellie in her car seat when I got there. I walked around to the passenger seat and heard a faint voice. It was Logan telling me to "Stop." I giggled to myself and stepped back from the car. Soon after, Logan walked around and opened the door for me. I stepped in looking at Logan and he just smiled. When I had sat down, Logan walked around to the drivers seat and got in. I put my seat belt on. I could hear faint voices coming from Ellies direction. I turnt around to find Ellie in her car seat watching Jake's vlogs on Logan's phone. She looked up and smirked at me. Logan put his seat belt on and turned the radio on, on a low volume so Ellie could hear her video. I turnt back around facing the front and got comfy with my bag on my lap close to my chest. Logan looked over at me and fake smiled. How did his mood change so easily? I decided to ignore it. He focused on the road as he left the car park and went onto the main road.
