Sorry. No song on this one...
James day at his tablet, he huffed out a sigh before Adam entered the room.
"Drawers block?" Adam asked. James nodded. James hands traveled from his temples to his shoulders. His head dangled between his arms.
"Come to bed. It's 11 pm and you need to animate more in the morning," Adam approaches James and captures him in his arms and kissing his cheek. " you can't do that if your too busy accidentally sleeping past your alarm." Adam was right, James should of went to bed.
"You are my alarm clock." James reminded Adam.
"Still. Come." Adam pulled James off his chair slowly, just enough time to turn off the tablet. He led him to the bedroom and into bed. James stepped into the closet and grabbed some shorts and changed. when he turned around he seen Adam slightly flinch in a way that made James believe that he was watching him change. James didn't act on it and just smirked at Adam. James stretched her neck down and kissed Adam on the lips. Adam kissed back before they laid down and shut out the lights. They laid there in awkward silence. James mind filled with thoughts and questions, like a fire tearing through his mind, inextinguishable.
"Adam?" James called into the darkness. Adam responded with what sounded like a grumble and a groan in one. "Do you ever want children?" James called again. He didn't receive a response this time. he felt urged to turn on the lights but resisted. "Adam?" he called again.
"I-" he finally responded. "I... yes." Adam blurted out. he was afraid of James' response. Was children a deal breaker for him? they talked about children before, but that was before all of the Jaiden stuff. James replied with a happy sounding sigh, which lead Adam to believe he felt the same. "good." James grumbled. Adam smiled and rolled over, facing James now.
"I love you." Adam said, planting a kiss on James cheek. It was soft, seemingly forgiving, and still made butterflies erupt out of James stomach and flutter and flap around. Adams head laid back onto the pillow. James basically lunged his head forward onto Adams lips, kissing deeply and passionately. Adam kissed back, they became very thirsty.. no, Hungry. The night became more and more wild with each passing second. Adam reached for James' hair and loosely strained through it as they kissed. Both guys removed their shirts. The night sure was wild.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
James awoke to Adam stumbling through the room, getting dressed. "Hey mi amor." Adam glanced over at James, smiling at the newly found nickname. James got up and stretched. "Hey Jameson, I already made breakfast, if your hungry." James sloppily got up and kissed Adams neck while wrapping his arms around him. "Well don't I just have the best boyfriend ever." James squeezed Adam tightly in his arms. A small box fell out of Adams pocket as he did. The box was black and lined with silver, it looked like... no, it couldn't be. James went flushed and picked up the box off the ground. Adam looked down, as if he was a child that just got caught in a lie. James dug his fingernails into the silver creases and opened the small box, the shinny ring just barely came into sight before it was snatched from Adam. "Umm, that surprise is for later. Go get breakfast. I have to do some stuff today but I'm taking you out for dinner tonight. so be ready by lets say... eight." James smiled to him and left to the kitchen, to eat breakfast.

James finally got ready for tonight. It took him a while to get his hair just the right amount of fluffy, and took a while to choose clothes. He stood in the kitchen. Everything seemed to move in slow motion. Was that an engagement ring that he had earlier? James didn't know if he was ready for that quite yet. James grabbed his car keys and almost on cue, heard a bing from his phone. He fished it out of his pocket and viewed the message from Adam.
*hey ❤️. Meet me at your favorite restaurant. Can't wait*
James blushed before putting the phone back into his pocket, and ran out to his car. He couldn't wait for tonight. He drove over to moxie's - his favorite restaurant- and entered the building. He looked up at the reception stand to notice a tall white man. His hair shone a pail blonde color and his suit matched his stancher and posture perfectly. He held a gun with a hand that rested on the counter. The other was mostly hid in his pocket with a thumb dangling out.
"Go join the others." He called. His voice was very raspy, but still natural. What was happening. This night was supposed to be perfect. James stuck his hands up as the blonde in front of him gestured to the entrance to the seating area. James is eyes began to water, but he sucked back the tears. He was going to be strong for Ada-
"Adam." James nearly whispered. He looked at a shorter guy, pail skin but not nearly as pail as his own. The man was wearing a suit a lot more like the guys at the front then James'. He laid unconscious, but even if he wasn't, his eyes were to swelled to see anyways. Maybe too swelled for him to open them, but James knew it was Adam. Bruises traced Adams skin, what probably used to be stiff hair was now soaked with sweat.
"Adam!" James ran to be beside him through all his pain but was stopped by a very stern and persuasive voice yelling,
"Take another step and I shoot." James stopped in his tracks and turned to a man identical to the one at the front of the restaurant. Tears started falling from his cheeks. He now noticed how familiar he looked. 26? No, 25. His face shone with its smoothness, his white skin glowed as the outside moonlight hit it. He felt overwhelmed with anger, he didn't know why. He felt he should hate this person. Judging the quality of his skin, someone else had beaten up Adam. The mans knuckles were flawless and his shoes had no blood. It was probably one of the slightly taller guys to his right and left. Ones knuckles seemed more bruised then the others, but his looked like it had longer to heal. James couldn't say the same about the other guys knuckles though. There was only a small amount of bruising but it looked fresh. "Sit!" The man called. He took a seat, just two tables away from Adam. It was going to be ok, james hoped. As James sat, he felt numbness come to him. Not in any specific place, he was just numb. Maybe it was the trauma of what was actually happening actually hitting him? Or the fact that he's terrified he's going to end up as bad as Adam? Or the fact that Adam could not even be... James was now absolutely terrified.
What was he gonna do.

Tim sat at his desk after a long day of steak outs. He felt tired but still had 2 more hours on his shift. He groaned in his chair and looked up out the window of his and a few of his co workers office. Police officers were running back and shouting.
"They have 6 male hostages and 4 female hostages!" He heard get shouted from outside.
"Yeah, their all at the moxie's dinner. Just traced the call!" Wait.. moxie's? That's where Adam was taking James tonight. Tim basically jumped over his small brown desk and ran out the door.
"I'm joining you guys! I'll be there in 5!" He shouted into his radio. He heard multiple mumbles agreeing and jumped into his car.
