James slid his hand on the hot bandage that covered Adams chest and face. He couldn't stand it. Puffs of swelled skin squeezed it's was out of the bandage that covered everything except his nose and eyes.
"Hello James! How was your day today!" Greeted the doctor. James smiled back, only for a second.
"It's the same as usual. Worried to death about him." James slid his hand down the bandage of Adams chest and set his arm to the side. "It's been two weeks, is he getting his bandage off today?" James could of used more enthusiasm, but he couldn't. He honestly preferred Adam in the bandage rather then out in the open. The scars are too unbearable.
"Yes! In fact, he's recovering more quickly then usual. This might be the last time we put bandages on him." The doctor was ecstatic, unlike James. He was terrified on the inside. Jaiden tried visiting most of the time, but most of the time James told the doctors that he locked the door and by the time she arrived, she wouldn't be able to see either of them. Adam wouldn't want people seeing him in this state. The doctor snapped the rim of his latex gloves and snipped all the bandage in half. James could faintly see the puffy, red skin of Adams cheeks, nose, and lips. The doctor took a swab from a tray set on the bed table. He covered the swab in some sort of cream and started rubbing it on Adams lips and nose. He peeled more bandage off and applied the cream over and over again. Tears came to James' eyes, but he held them back. He had too. Adam wouldn't want him to cry. James just gripped Adams wrist and buried his hand into Adams, he remembered how Adam used to hold him while he slept, or while he was sad. The way Adams skin gently brushed his. The way Adams lips lingered on James' when they kissed. Before he knew it the doctor had a cloth in his hand and began wiping Adams skin. James looked down. This time tears fell..

Adams skin tone was restored. A few pieces of skin stuck out from the bandage, and his lips were still swollen, but for the most part, the scars had healed. James looked at the doctor. His gentle gaze flickered to James and then Adam again. James looked back at Adam as the last of the chest bandages had been removed. There was a faint scar tracing where the bullet entered on his forearm. The doctor gathered the remaining bandages and looked back at the doctor who smiled at him. A few faint bruises traced his stomach and chest but other then that, Adam felt like he was actually there, not just an empty body.
"C-can I?" James asked. The doctor smiled wider and nodded his head.
"Just be gentle. We don't want his ribs to refraction." On that note, James leaned over and embraced Adams warm body. The warmth was similar to how it was before the accident, a little warmer because the bandages, and his body smelt of sweat, but James nuzzled his head into Adams chest. He missed this. Missed Adam. James detached himself from the limp man below him, he contained himself and sat down in the chair. "We need to put a brace on him for 12 hours each day, and during that time you can lay with him." The doctor paused and handed James three sheets of paperwork. "Couples usually choose to put the brace hours for 9pm-9am so that they could sleep in the same bed as them, but it's your. Choice. I'll leave you too that." The doctor sauntered out the door and left James on the blue chair with a pen.

"Standing in the hall of fame. And the worlds going to know your name. cause you burn with the brightest flame..." James sang. tears dripped down his face as he shifted the pen about his fingers and starred at Adams glossy skin. Then...

"James!"
------------------------
Adam jumped as James came up behind him and hugged his torso. He spun in James arms and grabbed him. He planted a kiss on James forehead and sat down with James. They sat separate from each other.
"So how was your day today Jameson?" Adam smiles and looked up from his menu. James had a very focused look as he scanned the menu. Adam tapped his shoulder. "Did you hear me?" Adam asked. James looked back up. Blush grazed his cheeks.
"Oh! Yeah, sorry. In good, I'm just starving." James said as he gazed at the glistening words. Adam chuckled.
"Well don't eat too much, I still have one more place to take you after". James eyes shot up but his face still stayed facing the menu, but Adam could see the smile creeping onto his face. Adam smiles too. The waiter stopped at their table as she made her loop around this time.
"Hello welcome to moxies, can I get you two something to drink?" She asked. She sounded very calm and soothing.
"Ah, yes. I'll get a chocolate milk." Adam said. James had to hold back a chuckle.
"Ok. And you?"
"I'll just get a Pepsi." James' smile stayed plastered on his face.
"Ok! I'll be right back with your drinks, my name is Ryla. If you need anything just holler my name." She smiled and walked away. She had a spring in her step and he blonde hair wagged back and forth like a dogs tail when she turned around a corner.
"She was nice. Probably one of the best waitresses slash waiters I've had." James blurted through the awkward silence. "Ryla. That seems like such a nice name. Oh! I'm going to make a video now about waiters and waitresses I've had!"
"That would be cool. But do you know what would make a even cooler video?" Adam asked.
"What?" James answered.
"Talking about you saying yes to marrying me." Adam just said it flat out.
"Wha-what." Adam got up out of his seat and pulled James up to his feet. Adam crouched down on one knee.
"James. I'm in love with you. I need you in my life. It's like a craving. You bright up the world when it's filled with dark. I love you. Will you marry me?" Adam asked. Adam sat worried as James wipes a tear from his face.
"Yes!" James shouted. He jumped into Adams arms. Adam was at his happiest at this point until...
