"Blast" from the past

I sat in stunned silence. Allmight just stood their collecting her thoughts as she readied her self to talk to me.

"I know you must be confused but let me introduce my self I'm Yagi Toshinori I work with the police. Why don't you tell something about your self?" Yagi paused hoping for a response from me, but none came.

"I understand your silence but we must talk your m-o.... Inko Midoriya is in police custody. We need evidence to hold her for more than twenty four hours."
Yagi paused her one-side conversation as she noticed my eyes had began to overflow with tears. I probably looked like I was breaking down because I knew what she was going to ask from me.Yagi  bite her lip and forced her self to continue

"We need you to give an detailed eyewitness account." Yagi said softly. I sucked up my tears and the snot from my nose, and put on a brave face.

"I know." I said dryly. Yagi seemed taken a back from my how calmly I said it.

"I..well I thought you would be against it. Oh I almost forgot incase you are wondering I will not be pressing charges" Yagi said happily. My heart felt a bit lighter and a very faint smile spread across my face.

"Thank you but.. your right I need to tell you what truly happened." I paused as I ready my self and Yagi scooted up next to me and gave me a million watt smile.

"I was three when it really began dad had ran off with an other woman and mother no Inko blamed me." Tears crept in to my eyes but I bite my tongue and sucked up my tears and continued.

"At first it was just ignoring me or calling my names like "brat, useless, and failure" it really messed with me. You know?" I looked toward Yagi for comfort she smiled and she wrapped her arms around me in a hug.

"But about year later was when it amped up. She stopped cooking for me and got drunk a lot. I remember the first timed I asked her why I couldn't eat and she looked at me. Those eyes so hate filled I will never forget them. She raised her hand and slapped me as hard as she could.I think that was the first time she physically abused me." Yagi had pulled out a note pad and wrote down what I had said while still keeping one arm on my back rubbing soothing circles.

"But that was just the tip of the iceberg. She liked to "punish" me. It was hell." I paused the memories of my pain and fear tried to keep my mouth wired shut but I couldn't stop now. Not when I was so close to getting this crushing weight off my heart.

"The "punishments" were basically torture. Locking me in the basement with no food or water for a couple of days, beating me to a pulp, the worst was what she liked to call the "punishment room." I can still remember it that feeling of nothingness.

"She would tie my up in a room that was sound proof from the outside and leave me in the dark. It... it.. it w-was the worst." I tried to continue but couldn't. Yagi wrapped her arms around me and tried her best to comfort me.

"I-I know its hard Izuku but we need this, but remember I am here." Yagi  comforted me. I smiled she made me feel safe to bad I probably would not see her again. But she was right I need to to tell what happened.

"I couldn't hear or see. It almost drove me mad. But I had a light in the darkness Allmight." I continued. Yagi seemed flustered and a bit taken a back. Before she smiled and asked
"Do you ask if I why?" I smiled and said
"Uh no of course not it actually will help a bit to wait and recollect my thoughts with this." So I began my tell of when I was four years old
"I had just turned four, and was at the playground. Inko had left me there to go have alone time with her boyfriend. It was just my luck that the school bully decides to torment an other girl. They pulled her off the swings and dragged her off into an area where no adults could see. But me well I saw it all, and me being me well I tried to be a hero. It didn't work out to well." I grimaced at the memory.

"I woke up late in the afternoon Inko hadn't even tried to look for me. I was hurt and tired, but I didn't ask for help." Yagi asked a question with an confused face "WHY?" I have a gave a sad smile before saying

"If I did Inko would have lost custody. Sure she abusive but the foster system it would eat me a live. Its a know child trafficking ring and most homes that don't want the children for the bodies do it for money. I wouldn't survive."
Yagi looked down for a bit with a morbid face before prompting me to continue my story.

"Ok ok lets get back to the story. I had been walking for a bit when I saw an old box tv on display in a hardware store. The tv it didn't matter but what did was what was on it. An re-run of the days news. It was an "spectacular interview with Allmight". I didn't care much for it until a question was asked that caught my eye. The interviewer asked Allmight if a man could be a hero. You know what she said." I gave a big smile and said

"She said it was possible!" I said enthusiastically. Yagi seemed disappointed.

"Umm Y-Yagi San do you not think men can be heroes?" I said sadly. Yagi looked very shocked before saying

"No no no. Uhh. You see I just think Allmight could have said something better like uhh well just yes."

That may not mean a lot to any of you, but to me it meant the world. Someone believed in my dream and well that was something no had ever done for me. Believe in me.
