Azuma doesn't like to talk to a lot of people. He's pretty standoffish and has to be constantly asked to work with a group during group activities...probably why him and Shimazaki secretly get along but are too prideful to actually hang out. Azuma has a natural RBF and a pretty short temper. Honestly, it's hard to distinguish him from and Iida or a Bakugou because at his calm moments, he'll be engrossed in work but the moment someone breaks a rule, he's quick to call them out.

When Azuma is mad, his quirk tends to discharge almost like a usual Bakugou explosion would in his hand. Once you break through the male's thick skin, you come to find he's actually very gentleman like and is very caring. You could probably get away with murder if you got close enough to him. However, he can read a person like an open book so you wouldn't be able to lie to him easily. He's also very protective of those he's close with.
