The PyongYang Castle was bustling with so much liveliness. The last time it was this lively was when Hoseok was to be presented in front of the whole Kingdom as the King's 2nd Youngest son. The birthdays of the Princes were celebrated within the castle with the servants and the family members. That was done to tell the young ones to show love and respect to the ones beneath them.
The maids were running from here to there. They were carrying flowers and many other decoration things that were required in the decoration of the big ballroom. The cooks were having a meeting in the kitchen. There was also Prince Hoseok present in the meeting as he was given the responsibility of looking over the food, the decoration and he was responsible for greeting the guests at the door.
"So, I was thinking we have Bulgogi (marinated beef barbecue), Samgyeopsal (pork strips) Japchae (stir-fried noodles), Ddukbokki (spicy rice cake), Sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew) and Bibimbap (mixed rice) as main course." The head chef said looking towards Hoseok who pouted his lips and hummed.
"Ok, that is fine. What about the starters?" Hoseok asked. A new person stood up this time and started listing dishes for starters.
"I was thinking that we have small variety of dishes on starters so that people can eat the main course more. The things that I have short listed are; Cheese balls, Lamb skewers and two varieties of kebabs." The person said and Hoseok nodded.
"And desert?"
"We have three options for that; Songpyeon (Rice Cakes), Dasik (Tea Cookies) and Makgeolli Ice cream. These are the best options that I have short listed." The person said. Another person stood up as the desert guy sat down.
"For drinks, we will be serving cocktails. Soju will also be served but after the coronation and the engagement announcement so that the people are sober when we announce it." The man said and stood there on his spot with his eyes down.
"Ok. That's a good menu." Hoseok said while rubbing his chin.
"Good? That is too extravagant!" A voice came from the entrance of the kitchen. Everyone turned their heads to the voice. Upon seeing the King of South Korea on the door, the people who were sitting on the chairs stood up and bowed. Hoseok remained seated as Prince don't bow for other kingdom's kings, except if they are much older. In that case, they have to bow to show age respect.
"Greetings King Yoongi." The head of the kitchen said and bowed again. Hoseok then stood up and faced Yoongi.
"Why are you here King?" Hoseok asked.
"Oh, I am here to see how the my soon-to-be husband does his work." Yoongi said and hoseok blushed a little bit, almost going unnoticed. Keyword: almost.
Yoongi smirked as he had seen the shy smile that hoseok had made and then it had vanished. He stepped closer to hoseok and softly grabbed his chin with his thumb and index finger. He grazed his thumb finger on hoseok's lower lip. He then brought hoseok's head down and gave his forehead a peck.
Hoseok's eyes widened at the action and he pulled back instantly. "King." Was the only thing that hoseok could say as he was left speech less by Yoongi's actions.
"I would love it if you called me Hyung instead of King." Yoongi said still holding Hoseok's chin. Hoseok nodded at his words. His eyes went to the audience that was watching him and quickly he removed Yoongi's hand on his chin.
"I have to see the decorations in the ballroom. Bye!" Hoseok said and rushed to exit the kitchen to avoid his servants see him all flustered.
On his way, hobi scolded himself. "Idiot, idiot. Why did you blush? Pabo hobi! Hoseok said scolding himself and only stopping once he reached the doors of the ballroom. Hoseok pushed open the double doors.
When the doors opened, there was a man standing right at the center of the ballroom. He was wearing a very simple, commoner type of suit. It was also in black color, but the reason why hobi was scared just as he saw the man was the snake engraved on the right side of his neck.
The snake was black in color. It's mouth was wide open and it's tongue was out. The lower body couldn't be seen as it was being hidden by the color of the coat. Hoseok's mind did a flip and he was very dizzy. It was like he was gonna faint or puke or worst even stop breathing. It was all too much. He started hyperventilating.
"Ohohoho. Prince hoseok! We meet again!" The man laughed and hoseok was now having full on panic attack. He was breathing in sharply and exhaling more sharply.
"Oh baby, don't be scared. What happened before wa-" The man was cut off in between his talk.
"You filthy man! You are here again! It was truly a mistake of my father to let you go and not execute you! How dare you even enter the palace boundaries?!" Came a very thunderous voice. The voice held so much anger that if possible, the Windows of the ballroom would be destroyed by now.
"Prince Jin! Wow! Having you both in the same place, I am having a deja vu!" The man said excitedly not bothered by the anger of SeokJin.
"Guards!!" Jin said loudly. The palace's guard's who had listened to his voice all came rushing to the ballroom. There were so many guards that they kept piling inside the room even after some time.
"How. Was. He. Able to. Get. In!" Jin asked with his teeth gritted.
"We were all having a meeting prince. Two to three guards were guarding the palace." One of the guard said.
"Take him out of my sight! Drug him and then leave him deep within the forest surrounding the boundary. If it is his fate then he will live or else I hope he will die." Jin ordered. Four guards came and held the man and escorted him outside.
"I also hope to see you again Prince Hoseok." The man said. That is when Jin looked at Hoseok and smiled. Hoseok was being hugged and shushed by Jungkook who was spending some time with Jin and had came with him to the ballroom when Jin was informed that a man with snake tattoo had entered the palace.
"Also, tell the head of security that he is fired. I don't want him in my palace ever again. He can have a job in the dungeons if he wants." He said and then escorted Hoseok along with Jungkook to Hoseok's bedroom.
