I what? Is everything all right? Fitz asked frantically.
Everything is fine, Fitz. I would love to. Sophie responded, her face flushed and her heart fluttering.
Ok, we can do it Friday night, two days from now. That gives us enough time to tell our friends that we are...together.
Ok. Well, good night Fitz, see you tomorrow.
Night.
Sophie laid in her bed unable to sleep, and only being able to think of Fitz. After what seemed like forever, Sophie finally fell asleep, dreaming about the date to come.

All of Sophie's classes went by fast at Foxfire. Too fast. In no time it was lunch, and the time for their reactions finally begins.
"I have some important news," Sophie mumbled. Everyone immediately turned to face her direction, Fitz squeezing her hand tightly.
You got this, Fitz transmitted.
Thanks, Sophie replied.
"Well, me...um...and Fitz..." Sophie stuttered.
"ARE FINALLY TOGETHER!!!!" Biana blurted at the top of her lungs. Sophie shot her a look as all heads turned towards their table.
"Bangs Boy, the Prattles," Keefe said, holding out his hand towards Tam.
"Ugh." He mumbled as he smacked four rare Prattles Pins into Keefe's hands.
"K, Dex, I need those elixirs you promised," Keefe said, hovering his hand in front of Dex, and he handed him three bottles of elixirs. One was a green sludge, another was a orange-y brown slush, and the last was a scarlet liquid.
They continued trading off items for about five minutes, Sophie very confused.
After a while, Fitz was the one to speak.
"You guys bet on us?!?" Fitz asked.
"We knew you guys would get together at some point, but Tam, Dex and I all thought it would take you longer than that because of how oblivious you are. You could've waited a few more weeks, and I would've won," Biana explained.
"Me and Keefe both thought you would do it a few days ago, so we win!!" Linh exclaimed excitedly.
Soon enough they all had to head to their next classes, Sophie hearing the gossiping whispers of people saying, "Did you know that Sophie and Fitz are together?"
"What? Lucky girl!! I wish I was with Fitz!"
"He's so dreamy!!"
She was lost in thought and didn't realize that she was heading straight for a wall. "OW!!" Sophie yelped, stumbling back a little.
"Woah there, don't want my gir— um friend to go see Elwin for the millionth time." A crisp accent joked, hiding behind the fact that he almost said girlfriend. The thought of being Fitz's girlfriend made her blush, and looking up she saw that she wasn't alone.
"It's not the millionth time," Sophie commented.
"It's pretty close," Fitz playfully countered.
"It really is, Sophie." Tiergan agreed, stepping through the door way of the telepathy room. "Now, let's get started, shall we?" He led them out to the front of Foxfire.
"What are we doing here?" Sophie wondered a loud.
"An exercise. You must find each other from opposite sides of Foxfire. You may not teleport or light leap. You can only transmit to each other. And no scenery of where you are. You will be timed. Under stood?" Tiergan explained, and once they nodded, he brought them separately to different sides of Foxfire.
"BEGIN!!!" Tiergan bellowed, and Sophie immediately transmitted to Fitz.
Fitz?? Fitz?
Sophie?
Fitz!
Soph! Where are you?
I'm not sure. I've never been to this part of Foxfire. Where are you?
I don't know either. Some kind of tree, kind of like a willow mixed with an evergreen.
Oh! I know where you are!! Face the trunk of the tree and walk past it, continuing to go straight. I'll meet you there!
Ok, see you.
Sophie ran and ran, her photographic memory catching every detail. After a while of running, she saw Fitz, and he started sprinting at the sight of her. Once they met together, Tiergan came out of no where and stopped the stopwatch.
"1 minute, 43 seconds. Nice job," Tiergan congratulated them. They continued to do the exercise, each time getting a little better, until they were too tired out to move.
