This is the first award show we've ever gone to with the kids. This is the first award show my parents have gone to.

"One wrong word and we'll all be fucked." I grumble, curling my hair.

"You'll be fine." Mom says.

"All it takes is the kids blurting something." I mutter. Jeremy is coming and Christina got an earlier flight so she can come, and Bruce announced we're attending and now we're being begged by MTV to perform an old song, so we're doing Misery Business and I actually went out of my way last night to tell Jordan that it's not because she came over, it's just because we needed a song.

All of the females get dressed in me and Carter's room and she force the guys into the garage. The guys always get surprises. I won't even let Carter see my dress. It's a sweetheart neckline mint green dress the flows to my feet. My heels are white. Macy has the same dress as mine but hers has straps and hers is another shade of green. Emma is in the same dress as me too, but hers is another shade of green. It's going to be nice. The boys are wearing tuxes with matching colors as us. We decided to color coordinate the families.

I'm the last one to be ready, as always.

"We're gonna be late, Roxy!" Carter hollers.

Mom chuckles and kisses my cheek before slipping down the stairs and leaving me alone.

"Roxy!" he calls again.

"We're going to be fashionably late!" I yell. "Chillax."

I can hear him sigh downstairs from up here. I snicker and finish on my hair and quickly do my makeup. I pull the dress on and fall over because I've got heels on and I'm clumsy. I grab my clutch and make sure I have everything and then I go tripping downstairs.

"There, let's go." I say.

We all pile in the limo and start the seven or so long hour ride.

"I think all the men should stay together and all of the woman should stay together."

"Uh..." I frown. "I'm staying with Carter.

I've never ever been away from him for one of these things. I don't want there to be a first time for it.

"There's a first time for everything." He reasons.

"Not everything." I reply.

It's so crowded and it looks like people just got of planes, probably because they know we're here.

I know that's really conceded but we're the biggest band in the world and we have been for years.

The kids look super excited and people are practically attacking the limo trying to see who's here.

Ricky gets out and people start screaming like mad when they recognize our body guard.

The crowd is so wild that Ricky can hardly restrain them and same with the security guards.

"I'm not getting out first. Someone needs to grow a pair and assess the insaneness today." Lucy says.

Everyone nods in agreement.

"You guys are babies." I grumble, stepping out of the limo.

The screams increase and it's so insane, worse than ever.

I chuckle softly and sign a few autographs and take a few pictures and talk to some wild fans.

Our four kids get out next with Carter right behind them and people are fucking flipping out. My parents get out next, and Carter's, and my brother and sister in law and nieces. The fans know all of them.
