He sat down knowing he wouldn't be spared,
thinking what had he done .
Remembering how her eyes were filled with despair
while she tried to escape and run.
Missing the way how she had cared
while he was ill.
Eating the lunch that she prepared.
It was when he loved her still.
It was like yesterday, the morning spent on beach,
couple of years back it was fun.
Walking in the moonlight listening to her speech.,
Now there's none to call him hon.
After several years he felt less into her,
but she loved him more and more.
She caught him sleeping with another
and left with her heart broken to the core.
Today, she wanted to meet him for one last time,
it Turned into bursting her emotions out.
Annoyed, he choked her and committed the crime,
tried to flee but no life left in her body to shout.
Now he could feel the emptiness in the air,
repenting for what he had done without a care.
In the cell he sat alone with his prayer
for the sin he had committed for an affair.
