-Lukas' POV-

I slammed my laptop shut. Idiot. How does he possibly expect me to take off of work to go prancing around the snow like a woodland pixie with him. If it were an invitation from anyone else, I would stop, ponder the thought, and maybe even accept the invitation. But from Matthias? No. No way. I looked over at my stack of papers. It was large. Too large. So many documents to proofread and sign. I groaned. Why didn't my employees know how to properly compose a document? Sure, I've been in the oil business for over 50 years, but it's not rocket science. Now, I've gotten to the point where I'm starting to think that rocket science would be a better fit for them. Hmm... Maybe I do need a vacation. Plus, the tickets and accommodations are already paid for. Matthias is an idiot, but he doesn't skimp on quality in terms of hotels and airfare. He's so pushy, so annoying, and so stupid. But maybe he was right. I could use this as an opportunity to rekindle my relationships with Berwald and Tino, not to mention my own brother. Now who's the idiot, Lukas.

Without hesitation I packed my bags, completely ignoring the voices of reason practically screaming out to me, "Don't do this!"

The next morning I boarded the plane and silently questioned myself,
