-Berwald's POV-
I was sorry. I never meant any of the things I had said, but it's too late. My one chance to get Lukas to like me failed. And now here I am, lost in New York City. I sighed. I need to go back to the restaurant and apologize.
It was not an easy journey. People rushed by, taxis honked, the whole city was a blur. But my heart led me back to home, back to the family I never had. I walked through the doors, only to see a most disturbing sight. Lukas and Matthias were in serious lip lock.
"L-Lukas?" I muttered.
He groaned. "What."
"I came t' apologize. I'm sorry."
He raised an eyebrow. "Okay, apology accepted. Was that really necessary?"
My eyes were involuntarily filling with tears. I'm a strong man. This isn't supposed to happen.
"I came back t' apologize bec'se I love ye."
Right then, Tino popped up from behind the curtain by the bathroom, a bedraggled Emil dangling around his neck. "AHA! So you DO love Lukas and not me. I see how it is!"
I nearly had a heart attack. "Y-ye w're cheating on me?"
"You were cheating on me!" came the hurt reply.
Emil was panting, trying desperately to catch his breath. "Tried. To. Tell. Him... He didn't. Listen..."
Matthias looked at Lukas quizzically. "So you were cheating on me?"
Lukas rolled his eyes. "No, idiot."
"Well obviously you were, since even Berwald admits that you were a thing," he frowned.
"If I was cheating on anyone, it was Berwald," replied Lukas. My heart began to shatter. "But it's not like I really liked him anyway."
Emil kissed Tino on the cheek. "Don't sweat it, it'll be ok. I'm here for you."
I growled. First Lukas, then Tino. I just can't win, can I? We were all cheating on each other in some way or another, which made me so angry I could punch a wall. Of course, we were in a public place, and probably making quite the scene. Of course, I didn't notice.
I was too hurt to feel.
