Chapter 16

Katsuki's POV:

As she flung her arms around my neck and cried into my shoulder I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me, she was shaking uncontrollably as more tears stained her cheeks.

"It's ok, I'm home now, your gonna be ok." I whispered to try and calm her down.

"Y-Your an hour late j-jackass." She mumbled quietly as she weakly pounded her fist against my chest a few times.

"An hour? Y/N, it's 3:37 and I got home about 5 minutes ago." I said with a slight chuckle.

"Oh..." She said quietly. "It was nearly 5pm in my dream."

"I wouldn't leave you alone for that long and I'm not leaving you alone again." I reassured her softly.

"Don't make promises you can't keep." She whispered quietly.

"And what makes you think I can't keep this promise?" I asked her curiously.

"You can't see into the future so you can't say you will always be here for me." She mumbled sadly.

"Well I made this promise and I always keep my promises." I said sternly.

"We'll see." She mumbled as her grip slowly loosened.

Y/N's POV:

"We'll see." I whispered as I slowly moved my hands from around his neck to the front of his chest.

"You still don't get it do you?!" Screamed a deep voice in an annoyed and threatening tone inside my head.

"Get what?!" I screamed out as I grabbed furiously at the sides of my head trying unsuccessfully to make the pain this voice brought with it go away.

"Y/N?! What's wrong?! What's happening?! Why are you screaming?!" I could hear Katsuki's voice calling out to me but it sounded distant and it echoed quietly through my head.

I could feel my head starting to throb as this voice continued to scream at me, it felt like my brain was being stabbed over and over again with hundreds of knives.

"Poor, miserable, lonely, little Y/N! Never could understand why her mother kept dragging her from town to town, could never understand why she had to leave all her friends behind! Tried to save this... BOY... from her inevitable fate but failed! Just face it! Your eventually going to leave!" Spat the voice as it grew louder and louder.

The louder it got the more it drowned out the sound of Katsuki's voice, I screamed again as another wave of pain took over but this time more intense. I tried to hold onto the sound of Katsuki's voice, trying to focus on it completely to stop it from disappearing and leaving me with this other voice.

"Y/N!... FOCUS ON MY VOICE DUMBASS! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, JUST FOCUS ON MY VOICE! IM RIGHT HERE!" I heard Katsuki shout faintly as my screaming became louder.

"HE'S NOT JUST A BOY!... AND IM NOT... LEAVING AGAIN! I WILL STAY HERE!" I screamed as tears rolled down my face.

"You never learn do you?" Questioned the voice again before erupting into a fit of maniac laughter. "The closer you become with this boy the harder it will be for you to leave, your mother will pack up and make you move again and you will never see this boy again after that. Just look at yourself, do you honestly think anyone would want you to stay around here?... NO! After a while, they'll realise how annoying you can be and they'll want you gone!"

"LEAVE ME ALONE! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! I JUST WANT TO STAY HERE AND BE HAPPY!" I screamed as more and more tears flooded and blurred my vision.

"Happy?..." Laughed the voice. "I used to know happiness... until it got ripped away from me... you'll understand soon Y/N, you just need to be patient." Said the voice in a stern voice laced with pain.

Within seconds of saying that, the voice disappeared leaving nothing but silence as my ears started ringing and the throbbing in my head became worse, my vision went blurry and darkened at the edges, my eyes dropped quickly and...

THUD!~

I collided with the floor as darkness consumed my vision and all sound drained away from me.
