Your POV:
We left Katsuki's house and started walking towards UA high for the entrance exam, I was able to relax a little after knowing for sure that everyone was ok after my dream last night. I breathed a sigh of relief as me and Katsuki walked along the road just being able to see UA in the distance, I looked over at Katsuki as he stared straight ahead with his usual unhappy frown.
"What's got you so down Katsuki?" I asked curiously.
"Nothing." He replied.
"Doesn't look like nothing to me." I said as I nudged his arm.
"It's you! Your getting all friendly with the old hag." He said annoyed.
"Your mum is NOT an 'old hag' Katsuki! She's a very nice person, you should try being nicer to her! Because trust me, if all you ever do is fight with her then your gonna feel like a really shitty person if something happens to her. What if she got into an accident tomorrow and the last thing you did was fight with her and call her an 'old hag'? How would you feel then?" I said as I narrowed my eyes towards him.
Katsuki's mouth hung open for a second before he grumbled and kept walking.
*Man he pisses me off sometimes! What's his problem?! He definitely can't have always been like this... Other than me, does he even have any friends?... Can I even call myself his friend? Does he consider me a friend?* My thoughts continued as we walked in silence.
Soon we reached the massive school where I stopped and stared in awe at the prestigious school I was about to apply to. Katsuki just walked straight past me and seemed more pissed than he already was.
"Get out of my way now before I set you on fire!" He said to a green, curly haired boy.
"O-O-Oh h-hey kacchan." Replied the boy as he freaked out.
Katsuki walked straight past the boy and towards the school building as the boy tried to calm himself down.
"Katsuki! You can't just threaten people!" I yelled.
*Wait... That boy called Katsuki something... Kacchan? What does that mean?* I thought as I walked over to the green haired boy.
"Hey, I'm so sorry about him. I honestly don't know what got into him, I mean yeah he may be like that most of the time but he doesn't usually go out of his way to threaten people for no reason." I said as I bowed to the boy apologetically.
"N-No, it's fine really. Kacchan is my childhood friend and he's kinda always like that to me." Said the boy.
"Kacchan? Childhood friend?!" I said in shock.
"Y-Yeah, Kacchan is my childhood nickname for him and I guess even though we're not really friends anymore I just can't bring myself not to call him by it." Said the boy sadly.
"Oh, I guess that makes sense." I said quietly.
"I-I'm Izuku Midoriya, it's nice to meet you." He said as he held out his hand.
"Y/N L/N, nice to meet you too Midoriya-Kun." I said as I shook his hand with a warm smile.
We turned to walk into the building but as Midoriya took a step he tripped, but before he could hit the ground he started floating as a girl held onto his shoulder.
"Sorry for activating my quirk without asking but it would've been a shame if you fell." Said a girl with brown hair.
The girl let Midoriya down as he turned to face her with a slight blush.
"Thanks for helping out." I said to the girl.
"No problem, but we should probably get inside before we're late." She said as she ran off into the building.
As I watched the girl run off I caught a glimpse of Katsuki standing in the doorway glaring at me even more pissed than I think I've ever seen him, before he turned and walked inside.
*Oh god, what is it now? Is he angry at me or Midoriya-Kun? I don't know but I don't have time for this right now.* I thought as I walked into the building with Midoriya.
As we walked inside we were directed towards a large room where an overly excited man stood on a stage in front of a screen. I sat down next to Katsuki but he just glared at me before Midoriya sat on the other side of him, he grumbled a few things before staring straight towards the guy on stage. The guy introduced himself as Present Mic as he started explaining what was going to happen in the exam, poor Midoriya got told off by some guy in glasses for talking too much before we were finally separated into our groups. Me and Katsuki got put in the same group but he tried to avoid me before we went into the mock town. I ran up to him and grabbed his shoulder turning him around to get his full attention.
"Hey! What's your problem?! Is this because I went off at you about your mum this morning?" I asked him annoyed.
"Leave me alone! Why don't you got find that damn Deku?!" He yelled at me.
"Deku? Who the hell are you talking about?!" I asked confused.
"The damn nerd!" He yelled.
"... Who, Midoriya-Kun?" I asked.
"Who the hell do you think I'm talking about idiot?!" He yelled.
"You jealous?~" I cooed. "What? Because I was talking to him this morning?"
"Who the HELL said I was jealous of that damn Deku?!" He shouted.
*I have to admit though, it's actually kinda cute that they still use their childhood nicknames for each other.* I thought as I tried to hide my smile.
"Look, I just spoke to him ok? Nothing major, just a small conversation. It's not like he's my new best friend, I only just met him." I said with my hands on my hips. "... R-Right now, your my only friend." I said hesitantly.
"Who said I was your friend dumbass?" He said as he turned his head with a slight blush.
