Chapter 14

Your POV:

I stood next to Katsuki and mentally prepared myself for the robots that stood behind the gate waiting for us.

"Katsuki?" I asked softly.

"Yeah, what is it?" He asked.

"You know my quirk is shape shifting and it may be strong, but there's a chance I won't get into UA... I know what's behind that gate and I'm not completely sure if my quirk will be of any use." I said sadly. "I can't really shift into anything too big or I'll go over my limit."

"Who said what you had to shift into had to be big and flashy? All you gotta do is stop the damn things." Said Katsuki.

"Well your right, but... What can stop a robot thats not too big?" I questioned.

"You can shift into other people, right?" He asked.

"Yeah, what about it?" I asked.

"So use that. Look for people with physical quirks and copy them, if possible try not to shift into the person completely. Just their quirk." He suggested.

"That's not bad, it might actually work." I said happily.

"No shit! I came up with it, of course it'll work." He said as he rolled his eyes.

I giggled at his reaction and was about to speak when suddenly I was cut off by Present Mic on the loudspeaker.

"Are you ready?!" He called out.

*Not really!* I thought to myself.

"Ready!"

*No!*

"Set!"

*Ohh crap!*

"GO!~"

*SHIT!*

The gates opened up and I ran forward as fast as I could, I lost sight of Katsuki in the crowd of people but didn't have enough time to worry about that since everyone had already started collecting their points. I ran around for a little bit observing other quirks and making a mental note of one's I'd be able to use without completely shifting into the person.

*... Hmm, what about that girl from this morning? The one that helped Midoriya... If I remember correctly she had some sort of pads on her fingers allowing her to manipulate gravity, that could be useful.* I thought as I concentrated on her and her quirk.

I felt a tingling on my fingertips as little pink bubble like pads appeared, I ran around the corner and found myself face to face with a two pointer.

*Time to see if this works.* I thought as I ran at the robot.

It attacked me so I dodged and managed to stay away from its attacks... Just. I quickly found an opening and touched the robot making it float, I quickly sent the robot up then released it. It came crashing down as I ran off to find more robots. Suddenly there was a rumbling sound and multiple screams, I ran towards the source of all the commotion and soon found a huge zero point robot attacking a large group of people. Without thinking I ran towards the robot as debris fell and trapped a few people.

"It's ok, I'll help you out of there. Just hold still for me ok?" I said as the people nodded at me.

Using the gravity quirk I quickly lifted the large rock that had trapped the group and they ran to safety, as I turned to run with them the robots arm came down and I had no time to react. I was sent flying as a large peace of debris landed on my legs, I let out a scream as searing pain shot up both my legs and I lost all concentration on the gravity quirk and soon lost the ability to use it.

Katsuki's POV:

A robot charged straight at me and I demolished it in the blink of an eye, suddenly there was a rumbling sound and terrified screams. I ran towards the screaming and found a zero point robot attacking a large group of people, a smaller group suddenly got cut off and trapped by debris but before I could do anything Y/N rushed in at full speed. She sent the large debris flying up and off the people as they ran towards me, as she turned to run with them the robot swung its arm down knocking Y/N into a nearby building and trapping her legs with large bits of rock and rubble. She screamed out as a larger rock crushed her legs.

"Y/N!" I called out as I flew in to help her.

"K-Katsuki?" She questioned weakly.

"WHO ELSE WOULD IT BE DUMBASS?!" I yelled as I blasted my way towards her.

Tears ran down her face as pain shot through her legs, I landed in front of her and started trying to move the rubble off her. More tears flowed as every movement I made sent wave after wave of excruciating pain through her legs, I made one last heave and finally lifted the rock off of her legs.

"This is gonna hurt but I need you to put up with it for a bit ok?" I said as I started lifting her up.

She could do nothing but bite her lip and nod as I slid my arms as slowly and smoothly as I could under her. I finally managed to get her up off the ground as I ran for the closest alleyway. I ran as far as I could before stopping and going back out onto the main road, I looked down the road and saw the zero pointer still where I left it. I looked down only to notice that Y/N had passed out.

"Y/N? Y/N! Wake up!" I said as she laid limp in my arms.

"Times UP!" Shouted Present Mic.

"Your gonna be ok." I said softly.

I stood waiting for a little bit until Recovery Girl came to help, Recovery Girl kissed Y/N's cheek and her legs started to heal.

"She should probably stay overnight, just to make it easier on you." Said Recovery Girl.

"No, its fine. I'll just carry her, I think she'd rather wake up in her own bed." I said as Recovery Girl sighed.

I ignored the old lady and started walking out of the school and down the road, I got a few strange looks but I just ignored them. Soon enough we got back it Y/N's house, I opened the door and went inside. I walked to Y/N's room and placed her on her bed before walking out and leaving her to rest.

"Why did you have to go and jump in front of the damn robot?" I asked softly before closing the door and walking back downstairs to watch TV.
