Which one hurts the most, both parallel worlds ends up in heartbreak. She ends up crying and her heart is torn by the reality of being burnt by the flames. Yet which one is the worse, which ones real? If you could go back in time to change history forever, would you do it? I would when it's your own family.
Time travel is sticky business especially when you're a time traveller.

"Take me back! Take me back!" She screamed, she could hear his heartbeat through the wall. The void had closed and they were never ever going to be together due to this unfortunate circumstance. She didn't want to leave him, she was forced to. She was going to be sucked into the void when she was pulled back into an alternate reality, one of the parallel universes. Universe X. Her tears were hurting, it was the the flames burning up her skin.
The void was when time stood still, the parallel worlds were colliding together and that was when the void came in, the two worlds were collapsing into each other. But there was a hole (a void) in the faction of the universe. That's when the void comes through, it cracks. Cracking the world around alongside it, bringing it all in together. The entire universe becomes splintered, that's when everything gets through; they go everywhere. Bleeding through the thought lines, from their universe into ours and bang! A void.
And Elle was on the other side of the universe in another parallel universe because of me and my mistake. I'm a time traveller, I was only supposed to get them together but it ended differently to what I wanted it to be. It was in a blink of an eye that it happened. The future changed in both universes, the multiverse theory was real and I was standing there in World X with a crying woman calling back to her almost lover.

I was sent from the near future, I was their grandson. I wasn't hers but I was Andy's. That's why I needed to get back in time to change the past, to have the future we need. They were a pin point in history that was a blank canvas waiting to be painted. They had to be together and change the future together. The future was bleak and everyone followed laws.

It was the year 2030, and my professor told me to come to Eton University. There were papers concerning the past that had to be changed, it was my grandfather Andrew Williams and the lustrous writer who wrote the book What if?, she wrote sci-fi romance novels, she created worlds that were imaginable to the eye, that it could be true. Some say that part of it was true but they didn't know which one was which. Some say we were on world X yet some said that we were on world Y. We were divided by the law. Just because of that book.
Andrew my grandfather, he was just a man she met once. They worked together in a cinema, she was his subordinate. She created worlds in her books so they could be together.
One of her famous works was an anthology called what if? He was in the book, about the possibility of parallel worlds, alternate paradoxes and an impulse of what could've been, it was a semi-autobiography based on her own life choices. But in an entity nothing but fiction. Names and places were changed due to infringement and confidentiality. She was a brilliant person. This was her life and she just wanted to change it and be with him.

"The future needs to be changed for all our  sakes, think of your father Jacob. He would have a different life." Doctor Alan Jackson said.
"I can't wait."
"You'll be going back to the year of 2017. It would be the day before the investment/assessment day. You have six months to change things. I trust you."
"No, it is I, that should trust you. You won't be here when I get back will you?"
"That is a possibility, but it's a risk we have to take."

He gave me the time portal he detached it on my body, all I did was to pull on the reigns and I was transported back in the time. I went back to the the old cinema in Ashford. It was still standing there as an antique, so no one could tear it down. It was only a short ten minute train ride and a tram ride to the cinema. I walked in, it was damp and dark but still standing. I locked myself into a stock  cupboard and I pulled on the reigns. I saw everything it was flashing before my eyes. I was being transported back in time, all the images running fast before my life.
I wore the shirt that they used back in the day so I could blend in.
