The whole floor is full of people. We walk more in and people start to come up to me. I say "Jake" and shake peoples hands. I come across this one guy kyle he said he's dans brother. I've been dating Erika for three years and I didn't know dan had a brother

K- how do you know dan you seem pretty young
J- yeah well I'm Erika's boyfriend
K- for how long
J- just over 3 years
K- and I haven't meet you before?
J- I didn't even know dan had a brother
K- there's three of us, Patrick should be around here
J- you have any kids?
K-yeah two tanner and Olivia they should be around here somewhere

I finish my conversation with him and I try to find Erika when I spot tanner from my old school. What is he- omg that's Kyles son he's the one that would bully me. I get by some people and find erika talking to someone. I turn back around to go upstairs and tanner stands there

T- jakey find a new family
J- no
T- then why are you here
J- Erika's my girlfriend
T- your what
J- girlfriend, where's yours
T- what did you say
J- where's your girlfriend I don't see anyone
D- you guys okay
T- great dan
D- just making sure

Some how we got along pretty quickly. I went to go find erika after talking with Tanner for a bit. I see Erika talking to angel and I walk up to them.

An- have you meet everyone Jake
J- most
An- dinner will be ready soon
E- Jake can we go talk for a sec
J- yeah sure

She grabs my hand and bring me into the bathroom

J- what's up
E- I don't know I'm scared
J- why
E- this is where the drama starts
J- you're okay I promise

I grab her and put her on the counter and I stand in front of her

J- nothing is going to happen
E- but something will
J- if something does happen I'll...
E- see

She starts to go red and her eyes go glossy

J- rik not again

I pull her off and wrap my arms around her and I talk softly to her

J- I've got a surprise for you I wasn't going to tell you but if we get through this then I'll tell you
E- tell me now
J- can't

J- do you remember when I said that you should go home and see your parents while I'm at work
E- yeah Saturday
J- well I pack my moms stuff up and the room is all cleared for you to come
E- you did that
J- I did. The best feeling in the world is gonna be us coming home together making dinner sleeping every night and you being by my side all the time

I kiss the side of her check

J- let's get out before people think my dick is in you

She pushes me back and we smile at each other. I open the door and let erika go out first then I do. I hold her waist as we go through the doorway to the dinning room. We sit beside each other and I put my hand on her thigh. Everyone starts to come and sit down. Soon the table starts to fill up with more people.

After dinner
Jakes POV
I follow erika around the room as she passes around the room.

J- babe it's fine I'm never gonna see them again
E- but they didn't have to say anything
J- they were just joking
E- I don't think so
J- at least they didn't start drama with one another
E- but they hurt you
J- I'm here I'm not crying

She walks faster

J- okay turbo calm down

She's been really moody and emotional it's kinda weird

E- turbo!?
J- I'm kidding
E- how aren't you mad
J- Erika it's not a big deal
E- yeah it is why do you let everything slip
J- you want to know why because I can die tomorrow and I can be mad at someone. That person would feel so bad that they didn't apologize and then they get sad
E- dont say that
J- I'm just saying

We stand there in silence for a bit

J- let's go everyone is still here

I reach my hand out and she grabs it

J- I love you
E- I love you too

I grab her face and kiss her. My hands go to her butt.

J- you're really hot

She puts her face in my neck

E- I don't want to go down
J- do you want to come home with me
E- yeah
J- we will leave soon. Let's go down I won't leave you. We can sit on the couch together

After a bit more convincing we head downstairs and go into the living room where no one is. I sit near the arm rest and put my arm up. Erika sits beside me as close as possible.

E- do you work tomorrow
J- tonight
E- you work tonight?
J- well supposed to be
E- then what are you doing here

She says worried

J- I wasn't gonna leave you and it's fine they won't care I'm always there

We sit in silence

J- you know Archie waits at the door for you all the time
E- *smiles* does he actually
J- I think he likes you more than me
E- no he doesn't
J- he does *smiles*
E- okay maybe he does

I raise my eyebrows at her
