My body ached. I had just battled hellhounds without any help. Thank the gods I have trained non-stop since I arrived at camp a few years ago. Luke is my best friend and I may or may not have a tiny crush on him. That's a lie I have a huge crush on him, but I know he doesn't love me back, he still has a crush on Thalia, even if she's a tree, he still loves her. I am just a friend to him. I wish I was so much more to him than just a friend.
Luke's Pov
Today is the day I am leaving camp. I just hope (Y/N) doesn't hate me. She is my best friend, I hope she will be fine with what I'm about to do. Here she comes right now

"Hey Luke."
"Hey (Y/N). I have to tell you something ."
I know this can be really bad or good news. Hopefully it's good.
"What do you have to tell me Luke?"
"I'm leaving camp. "
"Why? "
"I can't tell you at the moment, I'm just here to say good bye."
"Alright, but you have to promise that you will not forget me."
"I promise."

If only I knew. If only he told me. If only Hermes were a better father. I would not be here right now. About to die by the hands of my possessed best friend and crush.
