2015, Hydra Base

Wanda and Clint were still waiting for Wanda (2015) to get out of the room. She was playing with Tony's mind. When she exited the room, they went in.

They weren't worried that Tony would see them, because all he was seeing was his worst fear.

Clint stepped in the room to take the sceptre, while Wanda waited outside to guard the room.

While she was standing, a blur of blue and white moved in front of her. She instantly knew what it was.

"Pietro?" She asked, not believe her eyes. "Wanda? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be tricking the Avengers?" He asked her.

"I-I was tricking Iron man. He's in the room." She answered. Her brother looked at her suspiciously, but his expression softened and he hugged her.

Wanda flinched at the sudden contact, she wasn't expecting him to hug her. But she immediately hugged him back and broke down in tears. "I know that working with Strucker is hard. I promise it will be over soon." He said in a soft voice.

She nodded, making him believe her. But, in reality, she just really missed her brother. They pulled away and smiled at each other. Pietro sped up and the events of the 2015 fight went as the last time.

Clint walked out of the room, he showed her that he had the sceptre.

"Alright, let's go." She said. They clicked on their screens and travelled back to their time.

Clint put the sceptre in a special case that Harley was holding up, then the teen kept it with him and Professor Hulk.

Wanda and Clint sat on a couch in the lab, waiting for the last two pairs to arrive.

2011, SHIELD's base

Nick and Thor walked down the halls of SHIELD's base with ease without anyone suspecting anything. Fury looked around him, remembering the events of the battle of New York. "Those were simpler times. Our biggest threat was Loki's dramatic ass, now there is time travelling, and a giant grape who destroyed half of life. Now we have to clean his mess."

"Hey, don't talk about Loki. He might have done some mistakes in the past, but I assure you, he's good now." Thor said.

They went straight to the lab where the interaction should take place. Fury (2011) was walking with the tesseract's case in hand. He was supposed to hand the case to Doctor Salvig so he can run experiments on it. But Thor and Nick (2023) had another plan.

Thor hid in a nearby closet and Nick walked up behind his past self and knocked him down. Nobody was in sight so they were safe. He took the case and dragged the body to where Thor was hiding. "I have the tesseract, let's go." He said.

"Oh, Director Fury!" Doctor Salvig said, walking towards Nick. Fury quickly closed the closet door and turned to face the scientist. "Hello, Doctor, " He said.

Salvig noticed the case in Fury's hand, "Is that the Tesseract?" He asked. "Indeed. I am going to give it to you later so you can run experiments on it."

Salvig nodded, and walked away, not suspecting a thing. Fury opened the closet again and Thor walked out. Their suits formed around them and they travelled back.

They appeared back where they first left; on top of the time machine. Fury handed the tesseract to Harley, and then followed the others footsteps and sat in the lab.

2023, The Avengers Compound

Peter and Shuri travelled back a few days back, to the time before the final battle. They hid behind a wall at the entrance of the main lab.

It was the moment when Hulk snapped his fingers. The two teens watched as The Professor yelled in agony. He snapped his fingers and immediately fell on the floor. Tony kicked the gauntlet away, but closer to Peter and Shuri.

Tony helped Hulk, coating his arm with ice to ease the pain. At the same moment, Peter walked into the lab to take the gauntlet. It was a risky move, they didn't want anybody from the past to see them, but at the same time, they needed the soul stone.

So, Peter walked closer to the gauntlet to replace the stone with a fake one. But when he was about to switch the stone, someone whispered his name, "Peter?" It was from Tony. He walked away from the group when he went to take the gauntlet back.

Peter looked at him. He was starting to panic, he didn't know what to say. And Tony looked at him with a confused look. They stared at each other for about 2 seconds, before Tony kneeled on the floor so that he was the same level as Peter.

Tears started to well up in their eyes, but they desperately tried to stop them from spilling. Tony was the first one to make a move. He hugged Peter, now tears of joy were rolling down. Peter returned the hug, forgetting about the stone, and his mission, he just wanted to enjoy the moment with his father figure.

They broke the hug, "I'm not gonna ask you why are you here because I think I know the answer. And I trust that whatever reason that brought you here is important. So do whatever you have to do in order to succeed. But, remember, time travel has strict rules, if you're planning on taking the soul stone, you're going to have to bring it back." Tony said.

Peter gave him a sharp nod, signalling that he understood the danger of this mission. He quickly replaced the stone and put the real one in a safe case. They both stood up, and smiled at each other one last time, before each one going his separate way.

Peter ran back to Shuri, wiping away his tears, "I have the stone, let's go." He said. Shuri gave him a sad smile before they both clicked on their control panel.

They travelled back to their correct time, and Peter gave Harley the Stone. "Did the others return from their missions?" Shuri asked.

"Yeah, everybody is waiting in the lab," Hulk answered.

Morgan came running to her brother and hugged him. "You came back!" She said, happily. Peter picked her up and kissed her cheek, "Of course. I'll always come back."

The team was now assembled around the machine that held all the stones. Peter was placing them in their place on the gauntlet, with the help of Harley and Hulk.

"Alright, everything is ready. But, who is going to snap their fingers?" Peter wondered out loud. Before anybody could volunteer, Fury spoke up, "Yeah, about that. I called somebody who could help us."

Everyone looked at him, waiting for him to continue speaking. Suddenly, a glowing body came flying through the roof, creating a giant hole in the ceiling. "I got your message, and came here as fast as I can," Carol said, landing next to Fury.

"Hello, Miss Danvers, nice meeting you again," Peter said. "You too, Peter Parker." She responded. "So, Nick, you said you need my help?"

"Yes, we have the gauntlet over here with the infinity stones in it. We need someone to snap their fingers, and none of us can handle the gamma radiation coming from the stones." Fury explained to her.

"Oh, it's no problem for me. I can handle it. But, what should I wish for?" She asked. "We're doing this to bring back Tony, Natasha, Vision, Loki and Pietro," Peter told her. Danvers nodded and Peter handed her the gauntlet, but before she slipped it on, everyone took cover.

She slipped her hand through the gauntlet. The energy ran through her right arm. It didn't injure her as much as it did to Tony or the Hulk. She snapped her fingers, and silence fell in the room.

Everyone ran over to her, ready to help her if she was hurt. "Carol, are you okay?" Fury asked her.

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry. It doesn't hurt me." She assured them.

Peter, Wanda, Thor and Clint looked around, hoping they would reunite with the ones they lost. "Did it work?" Wanda asked out loud.

The four of them started to lose hope until someone with a thick accent spoke from behind the group. "Come and see for yourself."
