~Queen Bee~ (Males x reader)

Sports?!

A/N: Guess who's writing this story instead of doing their French homework? Its me!!!! Surprise, surprise, am I right! Hope you enjoy a new chapter at the expense of my suffering! 

This time, giving Y/N an answer was none other than Rye. "Do you think you will be able to handle doing another sport? I mean, you do already have a lot going on." He stated with hesitation as he thought the girl may think he is making less of her.

Y/N just nervously chuckled before responding, "yeah, I already have a lot to do! But I am always looking for something more to do! College resumes, am I right?!". You could tell she was nervous under the gaze of so many people (even though there are only 6 people there). 

"Yeah, I guess you're right, just don't be too hard on yourself!" John replied with a cheery smile at the H/C haired girl.

Again, Y/N just laughed half-heartedly at the comment. She was desperate to get out of the conversation, hence why she mumbled a quick 'goodbye' before rushing to another bench nearby. 

As the infamous E/C eyed girl left, Ethan finally tried to get a few answers out of his friends as to who the girl was, and why they seemed to be the only ones able to comfortably talk to her.

"Who is she?" he decided to speak up casually. The boys all turned their attention back to the gray haired male after his remark, their eyes slightly wider than before.

John, at this point the leader of the group, said "oh! She's Y/N L/N. She is also is the IB program and is in basically every club. And if you couldn't tell, she is in school sports also!" Justin was quick to add on, "and the most powerful girl at this school!". 

Ethan, now had only more questions, but decided to ask just a few more. "Why is she so 'powerful', she doesn't seem like the sociable type or anything?" he added. "She, as I previously mentioned, is in almost everything the school has to offer. You saw her in math, she is practically the smartest student hear, even individual at that!" John replied with a grin. 

"Ethan, are you gonna join any sports?" Ash said, changed the subject. Ethan immediately knew his answer, he had played soccer since he was just a little kid, he thought it would be a great opportunity to play on the school team! "Yes! I was planning on joining the soccer team, maybe even another sport too." Ethan replied with excitement lacing his voice. 

"Perfect! We are all on the soccer team! Actually, John is the teams captain!" Alex chirped out, happy to have another friendly teammate. "Nice! Do you guys play anything else?" Ethan said, curious as to know what they do to help him decide on a second sport.

"Actually, yeah! Rye and I are on the volleyball team, then Ash, Justin, and John all do swim!" Alex says with a bright smile present on his face. 

"Wow! You guys must have a lot on your hands! Do you know where I can sign up for soccer for now?" Ethan replied, still slightly shocked at how many overachievers were at this school.

"We have tryouts after school today for soccer. But since spots fill up quickly, we made sure to condition over the summer. If you have prior experience you should be able to make the team without that much trouble! Though, most kids the make the team will have to have had at least three years of playing..." Rye explained to the boy with hesitation after realizing that his friend might not be able to make the team.

Ethan, however, did not have a problem, "thats fine! I have been playing for well over 3 years, so I should be good!" He replied with confidence.

"Thats good, we can meet up in our last period and then walk to the field together!" Justin added on, making a plan for them to go together.

Almost as soon as Justin spoke, the bell rang once again. This time it was signaling Ethan, Justin,  and Ash to get to history. 

Once they got to class, they were met with a classroom full of students, all paired with an individual desk. The only place to sit was next to our beloved Y/N, and other random students that filled up the class. 

This time, Ethan sat close to the front of the room in between some unfamiliar faces. Ash sat near the back corner of the room. Justin was the one who ended up sitting next to the E/C eyed girl. 

She peered to her left to see who has taken a seat next to her, once she did she quickly recognized that it was Justin. She gave him a weak smile acknowledging him before she returned her attention to the teacher.

A g a i n, Y/N was quick to finish her designated assignment, bringing it up to the teacher for a grade. Once she returned to her seat Justin had built up enough courage to ask her if he got the correct answer for one of the questions. "Hey, do you know if this is the right answer to number 16?" he asked, internally pleading that she would help him. She looked at his paper and instantly realized his mistake. "Yeah, you got the gist of it. But you need to focus more on how Jacob Riis exposed living conditions in the Progressive Era." she said, making him understand what he was missing from his explanation. "Thank you! Thats sort of what I thought, but I wasn't completely sure." Justin happily praised the girl.

Y/N only nodded in understanding as she started filling out some of the homework to get ahead. 

Once the bell rang, disrupting the quiet class, students were eager to get to their last class of the day, even though it would make no difference whatsoever.

The H/C haired girl quietly walked down the crowded hallways till she reached her last class. Though she wasn't one for grammar and such, she greatly enjoyed reading and writing, making the next class, English, seem as though it was a fun period.

As all of the males separately made their way to their last class, they were just ready for school to be over and soccer to start! 

Though, they may be a little surprised when a certain someone shows up more than expected today.

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a good day! I know that the schedule and classes in general in this story are weird, but I will better explain in later. For now I will say that it is a block schedule and there are eight classes including a study hall! 

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and are excited for the next!
