Dear adults,

I believe you tend to forget that we are kids. We shouldn't be expected to act like adults all of the time. We want to make the most of our youth while it still lasts because as soon as we turn 21, its like a switch is flicked, and our freedom is snatched from us. But right now, it's not the time for us to grow up. Taking away our childhood is one of the worst mistakes you could make. It destroys us mentally because we can't handle it. We end up fighting your battles, fixing your mistakes and it isn't fair on us. kids shouldn't be worried about politics, we should be worried about a party. kids shouldn't be stressed over climate change, we should be stressed over a simple test. kids shouldn't be left to clean up after you because it was your generation to mess up not ours but we're left with the consequences. We're the ones who end up watching life as we know it slips out of our grasp.
