Its finally lunch break at school and Elliott Matthews was heading to meet his best friend Mason Moore in the cafeteria.

As they enter the cafeteria, Elliott noticed notices a boy he didn't know sitting next to his sister and her friend. He walks over to the table as Mason catches up to him.

"Why, Hello, Elliott. What brings you here?" His sister's friend, Maya Hart tried to flirt.

Elliott glared at the boy, "Who are you? And why are you sitting next to my sister?" He asked not intentionally ignoring Maya.

"My name's Lucas," Lucas greeted with a smile.

Mason looks at his best friend worried. He's known him all his life and he knows that Elliott didn't trust a boy talking to his sister Riley. Elliott didn't even trust Farkle at first.

He was going to say something but Riley beat him to it.

"Elliott?! What are you doing here?" Riley questioned, knowing her brother would probably embarrass her in front of Lucas.

"I just want to talk to my new buddy Lucas," Elliott replied as he slightly punches Lucas' shoulder.

"Uh-oh," Mason and Maya mumble.

Lucas rubs his shoulder as he watched Elliott and Riley start an argument. The cafeteria slowly becomes silent as they turn their attention to the two siblings.

"But this is so innocent!" Riley argues.

"It didn't look so innocent from where I was standing," Elliott glared at Lucas making him furrow his eyes in confusion.

"Please don't embarrass me," Riley begged in a whisper voice.

"How ya doing?" Cory questions, smiling at his daughter.

Elliott slightly smirks as his father stood next to him knowing that Cory Matthews is just like him when it comes to boys talking to Riley. That's one thing they both have in common.

Riley slowly puts her face in her hands before she noticed her father talking to Lucas and watched in embarrassment.

She knew her big brother and her father would just being protective of her. But sometimes Riley wished that they didn't embarrass her in the process.

"You know, I've been to a lot of places. Never been to Texas, though. What part of Texas is the closest to Mexico?" Cory asked Lucas even though he knew the answer.

"That'd be El Paso, Sir," Lucas answered, still smiling.

"Great! Let's go right now!" Cory grins then drags Lucas's chair away from the table and out of the cafeteria.

After lunch, the school day went by quickly. The fire alarm and the sprinklers went off so the school day ended early.

At an indoor skatepark, guys on bikes and skateboards perform tricks. Elliott sat on the deck of a ramp with his feet hanging over the edge watching as Mason skated.

Mason stops skating and sits to Elliott glancing at him confused.

"Hey, is everything alright?" Mason reminded.

"Yeah, everything's fine," Elliott sighs and looks away from his cell phone. "Maya just texted me,"

"Did something happened?" Mason asked.

"She said she screwed up big time and that my father is probably going to end her friendship with Riley. I can't let that happen. We gotta go," Elliott tells Mason.

Elliott and Mason leaves the skatepark and heads to Elliott's house. As they arrive at the Matthews house, they see Riley and Maya standing side by side. Riley was in the middle of speaking to Cory only pausing for a second when Elliott and Mason walked in. She turned back to her father and continued.

"This is my best friend. She's gonna get me into trouble, and I'm gonna get us out of it. And I did because here we are. Look at us, Dad. We're right here. My Civil War is over, Dad. I won. What happens now?" Cory smiles at his daughter.

The Matthews, Maya, and Mason arrived at the subway station along with Lucas and Farkle as they stood nearby Riley.

Cory smiles as he starts his speech, "Friends, family, and all you other subterranean mole people. We're here today to celebrate Riley being Riley. Now, some may call this a New York City Subway pass," Cory holds out the pass to Riley, "But you, Riley, can consider this a ticket to the world."

"You think I'm ready?" Riley asked.

"You showed us you are," Her mother, Topanga, reminded.

"Riley, I've already met the world. It's your turn," Cory replied.

Riley smiled then takes the card.

"This isn't so different from Texas. Look, there's a pony!" Lucas grins but was pointing to a rat.

"That's a rat," Farkle corrected.

Lucas's eyes widen in horror.

Elliott lightly chuckles before standing next to Lucas with his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"We never got to talk... buddy," Elliott reminded.

"You're not going to punch me again?" Lucas questioned.

"Nah, I just want to let you know something. Riley's my sister okay? I understand you two are just friends. But understand this, I'm a big deal around school so if you want us to get along and you don't want the entire school to hate you...that's all you are going to be. Friends. Got it?" Elliott threatens Lucas.

"Elliott!" Riley sighed with frustration before walking off to the side with Maya.

"So, where do you wanna go?" Maya asked.

"Don't know. Big world," Riley reminded.

"Ours now?" Maya asked.

"Yeah, but my dad did say I have to be home by five," Riley remembered as she glances at her father.

Maya smirks, "Don't worry. He wrote you a note."

She hands Riley the note as they walk into the Subway.
