Elliott was riding in the front seat with Josh while Auggie was in the backseat. They were supposed to be leaving out of the city but it was family game night and Auggie didn't want to miss it so Josh had to turn around and drive back.
"Family game night. Now with extra family," Auggie said gesturing to Josh as they walked inside.
"Why, hello," Maya smiled at Elliott as she twirled her hair, sitting at the table with his family.
"Why, hello," Auggie mimicked while smiling.
"Auggie didn't want to miss game night," Elliott informed as he went to sit down at the dining table.
"Yeah, we never made it out of the city," Josh explained then remembered. "Oh, here's your money."
He walked over to Cory and handed him a dollar bill. Cory looks at the dollar in confusion then at his brother. "Hey, this is a dollar. I gave you a hundred."
Josh returned the confused look but smiled and said, "With that kind of money, you think we're not gonna buy steaks."
Auggie slightly stood up smacking his stomach. "Thank you, papa." He grinned then sat back down.
"You know what? My brother!" Cory stood up
"My brother!" Josh said and hugged Cory.
"Listen. You're here for family game night. You're family, you're in," Cory nodded as he told Josh.
Josh went to sit down as the intercom buzzed.
"Farkle,"
"And Lucas,"
Riley walked over to the intercom and pressed the button saying to them, "Come on up."
"Topanga," Cory whispered turning his wife as he moved the chair over. "It's happening. I thought we had a few more years."
"Calm down," Topanga told him.
"No calm. It's happening right now," Cory argued. "Riley invited her friends to family game night." He stands up straight and turns to Riley saying as he walked over,
"Riley, schnookums. Um, you're gonna have to start to prioritize what's more important to you, your family," Cory nodded as he turned to the table then back at Riley. "Or your friends? There is only one right answer."
"Why do I—" Riley started but Cory chimed in.
"Wrong answer," He said.
"Have to choose between—" Riley continued.
"Wrong answer," Cory chimed in again.
"I love my friends and I want to hang out with my friends," Riley argued. There was knocking at the door and Riley goes to open it. "Welcome to family game night, friends."
"Wrong, wrong, wrong answer!" Cory said as he pointed Riley, then Farkle the Lucas.
Elliott went to the fridge to grab him a drink before walking over to his parents talking to Riley.
Cory turns to Topanga as Riley walks away. "Say goodbye to your daughter, honey. She has chosen her friends over her family."
