"Okay, so tell me about your most recent dream?" Dr. Leon asked Sarah. Sarah got a little upset upon hearing that question so she just said,"I dreamt that I was a hero. That's it." Dr. Leon made a real strict face at her, indicating that he knows that there's more to it than just being a hero. "Sarah, I know you slept this evening right after coming home from school, so tell me your dream." He asked her.

Sarah, who apparently was very much not in the mood to tell about the story forced herself to tell it. A few long chats and advises were given to her before she was called out and her mother was the one to go in next. She didn't want to hear her mother's screaming about why her daughter is like this so she took the earphones that she placed carefully in her bag and continued listening to some music while typing out her dream in her journal.

20 minutes have passed and finally, her mother came out of the doctor's room, looking rather furious.

As her mother drove them from the hospital, she said,"well, it seems like you're not gonna be healing anytime soon." Even though she was wearing her earphones, she can still hear what her mother said and said,"mom, I'm telling you, I'm not sick mentally nor physically. It's just the way I do things. It's weird but I always come through it."

"You see that. The same excuse. Look if you don't accept the truth that you're sick, you'll end up in a crazy hospital like your great grandfather." Her mother then starts telling the horrific story about Sarah's great grandfather who saw some things that are way unnatural and was sent straight to a mental hospital because of his rage whenever people say that his wife, Sarah's great grandmother is dead.

Sarah starts remembering what her great grandfather said when she went to see him alone without her parents permission.

Flashback 2 years ago...

"That's what your great grandmother did. She is an amazing protector of an amazing crossover dimension. And she's real good at it." Her great grandfather said. "But, grandpa, there weren't even any crossovers during your time, how would you know anything to tell me that there's a crossover dimension out there?" Sarah, at the age of 16 asked. "I know enough to tell you everything I know about your great grandmother and that she is still alive." That's the last word she said to him before she left him.

Back to the present...

Upon remembering that scene, she realised just how much time she kept wondering about what her great grandfather and the way he said it. Sarah didn't care much about her mother's babbling but instead started focusing more on what she's listening to in her earphones; Phoenix by Cailin Russo and Chrissy Costanza.

Hearing the lyrics always makes her imagine things. Things that are unrealistic but gives a really good impact towards her life. Every time she gets bullied in school which basically happens a lot, she always listen to that song. To her, that song has become a part of her life, almost like her theme song.

The meaning of the lyrics are powerful and strong which is why every tease she gets, every problems she faces in real life, she would listen to that song and imagine herself standing up from a fall during battle. It's incredible to see her imaginary self which explains why people say she's a freak. Because her imagination is what pushes her to the limit. Not realistic goals at all.

That's what her mother was worried. When she heard about this from Sarah's counselor and the principal of the school, she quickly made a therapist appointment not every week but everyday in order to like heal her. But she just wouldn't accept it because it's not the way she does things and yet no one accepts. Of course, she still thinks real but the decisions she makes are always based on her imaginations; the outcomes and the possibilities.

That's what made her special. A specialty she couldn't quite explain well enough yet to anyone. Not even her own mother. As her mother went on babbling about her future and so on, Sarah spotted from a far distance a huge oil truck taking over a car. The truck was on their lane which by all means, they were going on the opposite direction. They were about a few meters from the truck. The truck still hasn't moved from that lane and was still overtaking the car. A really long truck that is. Sarah thought.

They were one meter from the truck and the truck still hasn't moved from that lane, still overtaking the car. Sarah's breathing was fast. Her heart was pumping fast. Her mother just kept continuing her babble without noticing the truck that was about to ram them at any moment. Sarah didn't knew what to do. How am I gonna do this? She thought and then say the driver's wheel.

It's the only way. She looked at her mother. Listening that song really did unleashed her senses to save both of them. Sarah then unlocked her seatbelt in order to be able to reach the wheel. The truck finally honked when the driver saw them. Her mother saw the truck and started shouting panickly.

"Ah! A truck! A truck!!" Her mother shouted but her hands were frozen on the wheel. She didn't know what to do with it at all. Sarah did. She quickly jumped on her mother's seat, took the wheel and spin it hard right. The car kept driving through the thick spruce forest. The bumps are making Sarah dizzy and the car's windshield is starting to crack.

A huge tree stump was in front of them. With one huge bump on the stump, the car stopped. As it did, Sarah lunges through the windshield and fell out of the car, breaking the windshield. She laid down on the other side of the tree stump. That hit from the shattered glasses of the broken windshield really took it's toll on Sarah. There was blood flowing everywhere from within her. Every part of her body was dripping with blood. She opened her eyes slightly to see her mother passed out in her seat.

"Mom..." Sarah said, almost sounding like a whisper as she pulled out her hand to like reach her but she was too hurt to even move an inch. Suddenly, she saw a reflection of a flash of white light coming from behind her. Slowly, the white light blinds her until she couldn't see her mother anymore.

She stumbled on a cool floor. As she did, the light slowly closes and she passed out. The last thing she saw was utter darkness.
