𝓕elix found himself asleep on the floor, he cried too much that he fell on the floor and slept. He didn't know what to do now.
He heard the voice of men outside his locker door, and he knew it was time for his check ups. "I hope the medicine works" he muttered, all the merman wants was just to make his plan successful.
The sound of keys jingling scared felix, he was really nervous, so he pretended to be asleep.
At the sound of the door opening he felt his heart racing, he quickly closed his eyes shut.
"Is this the boy sir"? "Yes, he was caught on the shore,we need to keep an eye on him" the others nodded.
"Then let us start with-" "nope, I will do his checkups from now on" the captain said frowning.
"You guys do remember what happened last time I let you handle check ups" now it was the pirates' time to frown. "Put him in my office" and with that the pirate left.
"Shit" Felix thought to himself.
After a minute of silence, Kim Seungmin the pirate asked "what do you think will happen to him"? " I have no idea, but let's hope nothing bad will happen to this boy or else-" Hyunjin stopped, not wanting to talk about it.
Hyunjin lifted the sleeping merman and Seungmin opened the office door.
And yes, Felix really did fall asleep after pretending.
"Put him on the bed"
After they pirates left, the captain started taking out all types of needles and other things, he won't let this one run away like the others.
Felix opened his eyes to find himself tied to a bed, with scared eyes, looking at the captain in-front of him. Did he find out ?
"I won't hurt you, don't be scared" the captain likes being feared. Seeing how scared the boy is made him smile
He wanted to make everyone fear him, he was a cold person and he won't change that.
But he just froze, he was looking at brown orbs that felt like sucking him in. They were just too deep, an ocean full of emotions that he couldn't explain. And he wanted to find out.
The boy laying beneath him was quite something. He was ethereal, with star-like freckles decorating his face.
"Are you okay captain Seo"?
The captain was brought back to reality, "oh yeah, it won't hurt, don't worry"
After a while, Felix opened his eyes hoping the captain had left since he didn't hear a sound. But nope, there he was. The captain was writing something on a paper
"Your awake now" Felix just stared at the paper, did he know ?
The Captain knew he was scared, he smiled, "I'm just informing the other ships you are human, They thought you were a merman in disguise" the captain laughed it off.
"So the medicine did work.." the merman muttered lowly, making sure no one heard him.
"Sorry, what did you say"?
"Oh no it's nothing sir"! Felix said nervously "you sure"? The merman nodded "okay then" the Captain smiled "let's get you to your room dear"
Felix was shocked, the captain is being nice and that's not real? "You must be wondering why I'm acting so different" Seo said " well, I have to be kind to everyone on the ship of course, I'm actually a nice person" Felix looked at the captain confused "don't listen to what people tell you"
After they got back to Felix's room, the captain gave the merman a small note and left.
Why was the captain so kind and all smiley? "Looks like what everyone told me wasn't true"
Felix noted "but I'll still get rid of him soon, though" then he realized he was holding the note Captain Seo gave him.

He just couldn't stop thinking about those brown eyes, they weren't just beautiful, something way more than that. "I'll see him again soon" Changbin smiled to himself.
