The month december

I don't know if you understand the titel but I hope you do.

I felt Brooks lips smashing against mine during our fall and it got a little hot and heavy while we were laying on the ground. My hands were roaming through his soft semi-blond locks and his were half under my shirt. I could literally stay like this forever but Mother Nature had to make sure we can only live while we're breathing oxygen. So the lack of it got the best of us and we pulled back, our foreheads resting against eachothers. It was the awkward cough which pulled me out of my 'zone'.

"Soooooo, when did this happen?" Andy asks. "Yesterday." Brook says, he's being really confident about this. I look at him with a look of 'are you sure you want to do this?' and he just smiles at me reassuringly. "WELL SPILL THE MOTHERFUCKING TEA!!!!" Sonny screamed. "Only if you two spill your tea afterwards." I say while pointing at Randy. The both nod their heads in agreement and Brook starts telling the story.

"Well you guys know about Jack slapping me, right?" Everybody chuckles and nods their heads, of course they know, it was legendary. The handprint on Brook's cheek, good times. "I had to get Jack back for that because nobody leaves a handprint on my cheek without getting punished for it. But after my ex broke up with me... I... I felt empty. I felt like a black hole and like all the light that was once there, had been sucked away. Jack really did a lot for me in that time, you all did. But Jack, he made me feel alive again, he made me feel warm again. My feelings towards him started changing, I suddenly saw him in a different light. Never have i ever felt this way towards a boy, or towards anyone if I'm being honest. And I decided I should take a leap of faith and express my feelings towards him, so yesterday I told Jack to meet me in the toilets. I was so nervous you should have seen me, I almost shit my pants waiting for him. But when he arrived I felt this sudden boost of confidence and I kissed him. He didn't kiss back straight away which scared me a lot, I might had just ruined one of my greatest friendships, but luckily he did kiss me back. And now we're here and you, Ryan, have to tell us how you two happened."

It was quiet for a long time, everybody processing the story even myself. I knew Brooklyn wasn't feeling like himself after the break up, you could even see it. But never would I have presumed he was feeling so down, I think he was close to a depression and I know I wouldn't have been able to see him like that. Like a dull, lifeless person because he was, he is a happy, energetic person and Brook wouldn't be Brook if he wasn't cheering everybody up.

I hug him so tight I might be suffocating him a bit, but I just want to hold him. I hear soft chuckles in my ear and I kiss Brooks neck. "But now, Randy, it's time for your story. There's no escaping now." Sonny says looking at Rye and Andy. Rye looks really nervous but I think the reassuring look from Andy and their intertwines hands calmed him down a bit because he starts talking. "Well, yes. We are a couple." He says. "I knew it!" Sonny shouts "Now Alex owes me five pounds HA!"

"You made a bloody bet on us?!" Andy screams. Sonny looks so scared I'm about to burst into a laughing fit, but I don't dare to laugh. Not when Andy is this mad. "You made a bloody bet and it was only for five pounds?! How dumb are you? Only five pounds I can't believe it." That right there was my breaking point and tears start rolling over my cheeks whilst I'm gasping for air. My stomach starts to ache but I can't stop laughing.

I get slapped on my cheek which instantly makes me stop. "What the hell, Brooklyn. Did you just slap me?" "Well, you wouldn't stop laughing and you still had it coming from the last time." He says. "I thought you kissing me was the revenge for the slap, I thought we were done. Now I have to plot my revenge again and you know what happened last time right?" I say jokingly, Brook chuckles and pecks me on my lips.

"But Sonny, that bet you made. Why only five pounds you see the way they look at eachother, you should have made it like 20 quid or something." Brook says. "I know. But the bet wasn't about if they got together or not. You see, Alex had said that they were just plain old friends with benefits and that it would stop when one of them got a girlfriend or boyfriend. But me, being the clever creature I am, I said they would get together as a real couple. Now the friends with benefits thought wasn't so crazy and I didn't want to lose 20 pounds over Randy so it became five."

"Well it makes sense because before we were dating, we were friends with benefits so.... Alex was kinda right." Andy says. "Of course you were." Brook mumbles which makes me chuckle. "But tell the story now because we've been here for lik what? 45 minutes only to hear your story and all we've talked about is me and Jack and a bet." Brook says impatiently and aggravated. "Yes, let's start with the drama and the romance already. I could have been laying in my bed cuddling with Brook but instead I'm here cuddling Brook." I say amusingly

"Okay, okay. We'll start." Rye says

This took me a while because I'm having a bit of a writers block if I might say so.
It sucks and I've got a plan for the ending already but I don't really want to end this book so soon.
But ok, Harplyn is freakishly cute
