Chapter~4 Benjamin•Hayes•Grier

Sky's * POV *

I was still in shock that Hayes was talking to me, but I realized after standing still for a minute I actually had to answer. "S-s-k-k-y." I said as I was shivering. "Oh, that's a pretty name." Replied Hayes in a soft and comforting tone. "Ah thanks. I like your name too." I said still shivering slightly. "Well my name is actually Benjamin, and my middle name is Hayes, but I just go by Hayes." "Oh that's cool. " I responded, trying not to act weird. "Are you two coming? " Said Sophie and Hannah in unison. Then Hayes and I followed them to the next store. I was glad Hannah wasn't like over protective of Hayes, she seemed pretty relaxed although I was hanging out with her boyfriend because some people are really overprotective, like that's my boyfriend get away from him! About an hour later we were all tired from walking around; so we decided to go to the food court and get some food. After we had all gotten our food we sat down and chatted. Hannah gave an update on her life to Sophie and I talked to Hayes. Of course we all talked to each other, but I mostly talked to Hayes and Hannah to get to know them. Hayes had such a welcoming tone in his voice. Hannah is so lucky! I thought to myself. I mean I'm happy for her, but I wish I was her... she's so lucky! Ugh, I want to be her! A lot of thoughts and feelings rushed through my mind while he was talking to me, but I was still listening. My heart was racing and I was just staring at him. I didn't want to act creepy and not her does Sophie, but I couldn't help myself. He's just so, perf and I'm so, eww... "Hey you in there?" Hayes said waving his hand in front of my face. "What, what!?" I said startled. "I think you were wandering off." Hayes said. I started to blush a little then I said, "Oh, was I? Im so sorry! " "It's no big deal. I do that sometimes too." Hayes replied. "Oh, um ok.." I said quietly. "Let's go you two!" Said Hannah. We left the food court and headed out of the mall. Then Sophie and I said goodbye to Hayes and Hannah, and I watched them leave. I really just wanted to run up to Hayes and hug him, but I knew that would probably be too weird since we had just met. "I had a really fun time today." I said to Sophie with joy. "I'm glad you did. I had fun too! So how was Hayes? What you expected?" She asked me. "No, it was a lot different from what I expected." I replied smiling. "Alright so do you want to come over tomorrow since it's Saturday?" "Umm I don't know I have homework and stuff do Monday..." I said after a long pause. "Well Hayes is gonna be there." "What about Hannah? " She has a family get together thing Saturday." "Oh, um ok." I said. As much as I wanted to be with Hayes I didn't- couldn't break up a couple, that is just not right. So I decided that it would be best if Hayes and i were just friends. Saturday it was just Sophie, Hayes, me, and actually Hayes's friend. His name was Tyler. He was pretty tall, brown hair, blue - green eyes, and a great personality. That's why Sophie fell in love with him.
