Chapter~3 Finally, Hayes!

Sky's *POV *

When I walked home today I was delighted! Why, because I'm meeting Hayes Grier today! I'm so glad Sophie asked if I wanted to go! Ah, I don't know maybe we were meant to be... I mean that sounds crazy, but I really like him. All day I was day dreaming, but about him the whole time. Like what will he be like, will he like me? I guess I won't know until well I actually meet him. When I walked into my house I put my book bag and stuff down, said hi to my parents, and went upstairs to my room to get ready. Sophie said she would pick me up at 6:30 pm and it was 5:00 pm. I still have a while to get ready! So I looked in my drawers or clothes and my closet, but there really wasn't that much "dress to impress" stuff in there. Gosh, what do I do now I thought. (Idea!) "I'll ask Sophie! " I shouted. "Shh, your father is doing homework! " my mom scolded at me from downstairs. "Sorry " I whispered back. Then I got my phone out and texted Sophie. "Hmm, what do I do now!" Well Sophie doesn't have anything... I guess I could keep looking in my room I probably have something! I thought to myself quietly. "Aha, I found one! Hmm looks perfect!" I said smiling. What I found was a strapless mint green dress that goes, down to the knee with a few Sparkles on it. It was beautiful. It was my older sisters that was passed down to me when it got to small for her. My older sister Holly is 22 now and lives somewhat close by. By the time it was 6:20 pm I had my dress on and my mint green vans on. Also my long brown wavy hair was down with a clip on the side. Looks good I thought to myself. Then a couple minuets later there was a loud ringing and Sophie was at the door. So I grabbed my wallet and phone, said goodbye to my parents, and headed out with Sophie. "You look gorgeous! " Sophie said. "Oh, thanks you too " I replied. "You excited? " She asked "No duh, we're about to meet Hayes Grier!" I screamed. "Your not gonna scream like that when u meet him are you? Because if you are I would rather not be there for that. " Sophie said grinning. "Oh shush, I'm just excited gosh, I'm not crazy." I said. Sophie looked at me with a skeptical face. "Alright, I'm trusting you Sky; and I mean it!" She said in a serious, but yet funny tone. "Ok Mrs. Mom I'll behave." I replied with a sarcastic face. Sophie looked at my and started to smile then. We later parked and walked into the mall. Sophie had to text Hayes to see where we could meet up so I waited patiently. Well sort of patiently. I was actually pacing back and forth worrying about what to do when I met Hayes. A couple minuets later Sophie put her phone in her pocket and said that Hayes and Hannah were almost to the mall. "Yeah, they got stuck in traffic and we're gonna meet them outside of Starbucks." "Oh ok." I replied gleefully. "Alright let's get a move on then. " Sophie said excitedly while leading the way. Not to much later Hayes and Hannah showed up. I was screaming in my mind when I first saw him, but then Sophie gave me a look and I knew it meant don't act weird remember! So then I started to calm down and took big breaths as they approached. "Hey what's up Sophie?" Said Hayes. "Nothing much, what about you?" "Same." Replied Hayes. Then Hannah chimed in to the conversation. "Hey Sophie you look nice, and who's your friend? " Oh no I thought I'm not ready to talk yet! Oh gosh what should I say?! "That's Sky!" Sophie said with joy. We meet when we were real little and we've been friends ever since! " "Oh, that's cool; it's always nice to have closer friends like that." Said Hannah. "Alright well let's get going, ladies first!" Hayes said escorting everyone else to the store across from Starbucks. After going into a couple stores Hayes finally spoke to me. "Hey sorry I forgot to introduce myself earlier, I'm Hayes Grier. You might of heard of me before, but not everyone has. Anyways what's your name?"
