I woke up and felt the pillow. I saw Frida was not there any longer and got up. I went to the table and grabbed a quill. I dabbed it in ink amd started writing down what I knew from my journal to clear things up.

Cortés had a lover, while with his wife. She was princess, Elmira of Embrosa, but gave the crown, her brother to be king. She had twins. A boy, Izel Cortés, and a girl, Zaniyah Cortés. She left them in the care of her brother, King Tupoc. Tupoc was chosen to give an extra Cortés not known of, also with the memory of a song that was supposed to lead to the family's deepest secret. The first person with the coin is unable to die unless someone from the line destroys them. Jack may possibly help me with that. I cannot let him know now. I already feel bad for burdening him. He has been kind enough to give me a place to stay and eat. I lost my mother, and Uncle. He was the only father I knew. I cannot burden him with my emotions.

I stopped writing and put my jacket on, grabbing my journal and putting it in the pocket. I folded the paper and sighed. I set it in my pocket, as I went to deck and saw Tia looking at the waters. Frida was on her shoulder.

I stood next to her, leaning against the railing. "It must be hard not being in the sea."

She looked at me, wide eyed. "How you know?"

I laughed. "It wasn't that hard to figure out."

I turned around and leaned my back on the railing. I looked at the stars and smiled. "First, you knew so much about Davy Jones. Second, your response of how you told the story of who he love rose my suspicions."

I sighed. "Lastly, you got defensive about Jones neglecting his duties."

I smiled. "Though that was not what gave it away. What gave it away was the fact that you guided the pearl to the crew with crabs. Now tell me. Is it not true? Calypso."

She narrowed her eyes at me. "What you want?"

I laughed. "Calypso, I am your friend. I am going to release you from your prison. You have been trapped long enough."

She smiled. "You want something. I know."

I sighed. "I understand that you resent the first Brethren Court for trapping you, but it was not us. They fear that you will be an enemy to them as before. Please, spare us, so we can put a end to the man that wrongfully trapped you in this form."

I moved away from the railing amd walked away. I whistled to Frida. She came and propped herself onto my shoulder.

"Think about it, for me...please." I smiled, before disappearing into the quarters.

I opened the door to the quarters and saw Jack. He was in his chair with his legs propped on the table. He was reading a paper intently. I went to him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "What are ya reading?"

He did not answer, so I looked at the paper. My eyes widened. It was the paper in which I had written on to collect my thoughts. It must have fallen out of my pocket. I took it from him and put in my pocket.

He finally acknowledged me and looked in my eyes. I could not burden him with this. He already had the battle ahead for our freedom. Not to mention the chaos with Beckett.

"Why did you burden yourself with this for so long, Luv?" He asked, concerned.

I averted my eyes, avoiding his gaze and turned around. "You have the chaos with Jones and Becket. I would just be a nuisance." I held my arms firmly, and tears fell down my face, as I continued. "I-it was my burden. You should not have to deal with it."

"That is ridiculous. Ember look at me. Please." He insisted.

I shook my head at him and covered my face with my hands. "Jack you have too much going on. I do not deserve what you have done for me."

I heard him come closer and speak. "This is nonsense!"

I turned around raising my hand to punch him, but he caught my wrist. "You are violent."

I didn't say anything and was going to open the door. I had my hand on the doorknob about to turn it and then put his hand on mine. He took it and yanked me to him.

I fell into his chest and my eyes grew big from surprise. "Jack?"

He spoke softly. "That is nonsense, because I chose to have you here. " He shook his head, correcting himself. "I want you here."

I felt tears brim my eyes. "But-"

"You are the most gorgeous, caring, selfless woman I have had the pleasure to company me. Stop burdening yourself." He held my face in his hands and made me look at him. He used his thumbs to wipe my tears.

He drew his face closer to me and I held my breath. He always knew what to say. I couldn't fight it. I loved him and could tell he was coming to me slowly. I am was willing to wait.
