Jason's POV:

It was really starting to damn right annoy me.

I knew that she didn't see it, cuz she's all Kaylie-like. But I could. The way that Niall looked at her as if she was a burger, the way that Liam would do that little once over thing that girls do at the mall, And Zayn! Don't even get me started on him.

So while she was upstaris showering the next morning, I decided to have a little talk with the boys.

"Yo, lads," I said, bounding down the staircase. My dark hair was swept to the left side, so that none of it would get in the way. "Come over here for a sec, I have something I wanna tell you."

They all came running from different directions. One from down the stairs, one from the kitchen (Niall), ect. They all flew onto the couches, buryinig themselves in the soft curtains while I stood in the middle of the living room, arms crossed.

"Whadya wanna talk about, mate?" Liam asked.

"My little sister."

That got the room quiet. "She's only fourteen," I said, looking them each in the eyes. "She's never, you know, been with someone before."

Harry raised an eyebrow. "Have you?"

"No. It's hard to, when your in the middle of the god damn woods."

Harry nodded, "Awh, I'm sorry, man. That's gotta suck."

And it did. Kaylie was stil young, at fourteen, where I was sixteen, nearly seventeen. She didn't have  the...thoughts. And no, I'm not just talking about sex, but just about falling in love too. Like, what are we gonna do with our lives? It'd be kind of hard to start a family....but that didn't mean that I'd never thought about it. Settling down with a cute girl, maybe in the country side because I hate cities, having chil-

What the hell was I thinking latley?

I blinked, forcing my brain to go sane again. "The thing is, we don't know crap about you. And she's young. Like, really young. How old are you people anyway?"

Harry, "18."

Liam, "19."

Niall, "19."

Zayn, "19."

Louis, "20."

I think my heart stopped working when I heard that. "Louis! You're six years older than her!"

But come on, let's get real now. It wasn't Louis that I was worried about. "And Zayn! You're FIVE!" IF she had to date someone, I would perfer Harry, just because of the stupid ass age difference!

Harry frowned, "Age is just a number. Maturity is a choice. And she seems quite mature to me."

I frowned. "How did something that deep come out of you?"

"It's one of his well known quotes," Niall said happily.

"Well known? Who areee you people?"

"I told Kaylie about it," Zayn said. "We're a band. Auditioned for the X-Factor and now quite world famous. Our name is One Direction."

"The only was is up!" Louis put in helpfully.

"Look," Liam said, standing up. "I get it. You're her big bro. You feel responsible for her. And the fact that you practically raised her probably only made that feeling stronger. But she's gotta be able to...live. She is really, really young, but maybe someday, and I'm not saying that it will be with one of us, but maybe, maybe someday she'll fall in love. And no offense dude, but you're gonna have to deal with that."

It really annoys me when people are right.

"Now, hold up a bit-" I started, but was interrupted at the sound of Kaylie coming down the stairs. She was wearing grey sweats and a t-shirt, and her hair was down to the side in one long dark braid, though it wasn't nearly as long as it has been since she chopped off some of her hair. She took one look at the boys, Liam standing a couple of inches in front of me and the rest of them stiff on the couches, watching her and me like we were missionares, and sighed.

"Jason, what did you do?"

All of the boys and I exchanged looks. One thing was clear: Do not tell her. I just shook my head and put on my best lying voice, "I'm trying to convince them to learn how to hunt, but they refuse. I guess that these wimps are just too scared."

Her face relaxed. Good job, Jason.

Harry shot up, making weird sounds. "Hey! I never said I wouldn't hunt!"

Kaylie frowned. "Hazza, maybe you should just stick to picking berries."

"No!" He prosted. "I am not a wimp. Neither are the rest of the boys! Well maybe Niall...but that's besides the point! We will hunt. And we will do it well."

"Alright," I said, smiling. "Let's go hunt then."

Sorry that this was so short, but I didn't want to another POV in this chapter, I just wanted it to be Jason's. The next chapter will be about the boys hunting (1d with weapons, not a good combo) and will also be back to Kaylie's pov! Still shipping Zaylie??
