I woke up to the sound of screaming.

What could possibly have gone wrong now?

I jumped out of bed and ran towards the sound, which was coming from the main floor. I ran down the stairs, taking them two a time, and bursted into the kitchen, my mouth litteraly dropping at what I saw. It was chaos.

Niall and Zayn both had their hands on a piece of paper, struggling to get it as if it was the most important thing in the world. Harry was yelling at Louis, screaming, "I TOLD YOU NEVER TO DO THAT EVER EVER AGAIN! AND WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU DO IT AGAIN!"

"I WAS TRYING TO BE HELPFUL!"

"HOW IT DUMPING A COLD BUCKET OF WATER ON SOMEONE HELPFUL!?

"WELL IT WOKE YOU UP, NOW DIDNT IT?"

Liam was standing on a table, whistling, trying to get their attenitlon. "Boys! Lads! C'mon, calm down! You're going to wake Kaylie!"

I walked over to him and mummbled, "Too late for that, Liam. Move." I pushed him off of the table lightly and screamed, "BOYYYSSS!!!!"" At the top of my lungs.

They all froze and looked at me.

"Kaylie!" Louis screamed, "Good morning!"

"What the hell is going on here?" I spat.

"Well," Niall started, "I wanted the piece of paper so that I could write down new lyrics that I came up with, but Zayn said that it was pointless because we're all going to die here in a hole and that it was waste of trees."

I blinked. "Okay, one, what exactly were you planning on using to write on the paper? We don't have any pens! And two, Zayn, no you are not going to die here what made you think of that?"

Zayn looked down at the ground, and I could feel his walls coming up, blocking off his emotions. "Zayn?" I asked again. "Answer me!"

He sighed. "Look, I don't mean to hurt you, but look at Jason? He's experience and strong and knows what the fuck he's doing, and we're just singers. He almost died yesterday, how are we going to make it out here?"

"Because you have me, and I'm even stronger than Jason!" A lie. No one was stronger than Jason.

Zayn nodded, "Yeah, I know. I'm sorry." But I could tell that I hadn't convinced him. Too bad I didn't care. I turned to Louis and Harry. "Now what is going on with you two?"

"LOUIS WOKE ME UP BY DUMPING A BUCKET OF COLD WATER ON MY-"

I exploded then, jumping off the table and grabbing Louis. "Louis! That's drinking water you dumb ass!"

"Can't you just use the sink for more?"

"I told you the running water doesn't work! We have to walk all the way to the creek to get water!"

"Oh." He frowned, "I'm sorry."

"SAY YOU'RE SORRY TO MY WET HAIR!" Harry screamed in repsonce.

"Harry!" I hissed.

"SAY YOU'RE SORRY!" He whined.

Louis sighed. "I'm sorry."

Harry smiled, "Good."

I groaned and closed my eyes, trying to block out the five teenage boys, when I heard a soft voice say, "I'm hungry," and smiled slighty. They were kids. Teenagers. They didn't know what it was like to live like this.

I nodded, "Okay I'll make you food right after I go check on Jas-"

"No need for that," a voice said. I turned around and grinned at the sight of my brother standing there, face dirty and hair falling into his eyes. He was shirtless, the strips still around him, but he had put his shorts back on.

I knew he didn't want a touchy reunion. So all I said was, "Good. You didnt' die."

"Nope," he answered, walking a little slower than usual to the freezer, "Can't get rid of me that easily."

I wanted to run up to him and cry, but that's just not how we were brought up. "Well, Niall, I guess that I can make the food now then. Jason, I'll start the fire, you get the deer out, okay?" I shot Liam a look, hoping that he got the message: Don't let Jason get hurt.

He nodded, sending me a smile.

I walked outsdie, and I heard footsteps following me, and turned to see Niall. I began to start the fire and Niall stood watching me with interest. "Can I help you?" I asked him.

He shrugged, "No. I just figured I'd watch. I've never really seen someone start a fire like that before."

He was referring to the way that I was banging the stones together. I frowned. Niall was like a puppy. Hard to ignore, hard to say no to. "Here," I sat, motioning for him to come over to me, "just do this." I rubbed the stones together hard.

Niall frowned in concentration hard, and began to do what I was doing. Mine immedtily set on fire, and I threw them into the pit and grabbed leaves and sticks, tossing them in. A spark ignited on Niall's set and he screamed.

"Niall!" I yelled, taking the stones from him before he burnt himself. "Not so close to your body!"

"Oh." He said, blushing, "Yeah."

I rolled my eyes and told him how to do it in a simpler way, and he managed to get the fire to start eventually. "Okay, guys!" I called out, "Deeeerrr time!"
