Hours later, the Lunar Ritual was set to begin at any moment and the Lunar crystal was nowhere to be found, and with it Aledai was also missing. Talia had been generously chewed out and felt guilty for passing off her most important task to the non-magical elf. Vithir has sent out two search parties to find the missing elf and retrieve the crystal, though neither had been spotted thus far.
She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. She had exhausted all she could before the ritual, and now she had to prepare the dryads to make do without the crystal.
"Gather the other dryads. It is time to begin." she said, her voice steeled and commanding.
"But what about the crystal?" Talia asked, frowning.
"We have no choice. This year we will proceed without it, and after we will slay the thief called Aledai for this heinous act."
Talia shuddered at the thought of such violence.
