Grandmother

The next morning I was awoken by Neko shaking me slightly. "Hey Alison. My grandma wants to tali to you before the others wake up". I sleepily opened my eyes and got out of bed. " like right now Neko?" I asked as my body was begging for me to lay back down. He nodded and I closed my eyes sleepily.

Suddenly I felt a tug on my T-shirt. I started down at Neko who simply looked up at me all innocently. "I didn't want the others waking up and catching a glimpse of your.... Well parts..." He said awkwardly. My face immediately turned red. And then I remembered... The scar from the surgery. Oh god, I hope he didn't see it...

"Anyways follow me", Neko said smiling as he exited the room. I slowly followed him up the long dark oak hallway decorated with pictures of kids and adults. They looked like family photos.

Neko led me into a room that resembled a living room. It had two arm chairs place across from each other and slightly in front of this huge wooden mantle place, under that was black marble and in the center an amazing and stunning own fire.

Directly across from the fireplace was a large three seat couch. And apart from that there was only a small coffee table, that was it.

On one of the arm chairs set an old yet youthful looking lady. Neko walked over to her a smiled as he spoke. " Nan she is here", he said as he signaled towards me. The lady followed the signal and met my eyes... Those eyes I swear I have seen them before.... It is probably just my imagination...

"Hello dear. I am Jade. It is so nice to meet you", She said smiling to me as she put her hand out. " I am Alison". I said as politely as possible. She simply smiled at me and gestured for me to take a seat at the armchair across from the one she was heading towards. By now Neko had left the room. Probably to go back to Eric.

We sat there silently for what felt like forever until she spoke, "So Alison. How did you become friends with these boys?" She asked and I thought
"Well I was shown to my dorm by..." Damn it I forgot her name... Ughh what was it... "Well I seem to have forgotten her name but I am in a dorm with Eric and yea." I son know why but I started to feel really uneasy. Like something was watching me from behind.

"Morning starshine." I jumped as the voice suddenly cane from behind me. I turned and seen Xeno. The same lifeless eyes he had when i seen him fall to the ground.. Dead. Wait he died? He had died yesterday didn't he?I was shocked. I immediately replayed the scene from yesterday. He was shot wasn't he? Then how is he here... I closed my eyes as I was deep in thought. Both shocked and curious.
I suddenly opened my eyes and I seen Eric. I don't know what had just happened but it had me shook. Eric knelt beside me concern appearing in his eyes.

"Hey Ali?" He said as he finally dragged me out of my thoughts. "Oh yea sorry Eric", I said as I looked down. "Are you OK hun?" He said sympathy in his voice. "Yea I am fine Eric", I said forcing a smile.

Nekos grandmother then brought in some tea and biscuits (or cookies as some may call them).

She handed me a small teacup and a plate with two chocolate covered digestive biscuits. She gave me a nice smile as she sat down.

It was weird to me.... I feel like I know her but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
