The new girl [Completed]

That Morning

The next day I awoke to May flung across the bed, as she usually is. I smiled to myself as I silently got out of bed and went down to the kitchen. May might not always say it but I an ten times the cook she is so I, as often as possible, make the breakfast. So I went down the stairs and into the kitchen.

I searched for the ingredients needed to make pancakes and got everything set up for making bacon. Pancakes and bacon was Mays favourite so why not?

I had just finished setting the table and leaving the plates neatly onto the fancy place mats when I heard a loud bang from our room. I automatically ran down the hall and into the room only to see May sitting on the floor beside our bed looking highly confused. I walked over and knelt in front of her.

"Hi sleepy", I spoke teasingly to her and she glared at me. "Shut up...." She spoke in a playful voice. "I am only after falling out of bed..." May said as I tried to hold back a laugh but failed to do so. "Breakfast is ready downstairs if you want." She immediately got up and started running up the hall calling down to me, "you better hurry before I eat everything." And then I quickly ran to her.

We sat talking and eating a lot longer then necessary. May and me are the types of people to treasure every moment together and make the most of life.

After the long breakfast we decided to get dressed. I wore a pair of denim shorts and a T-shirt with a simple pair of runners while May wore an oversized pink jumper and short shorts. She looked amazing.

We got two bottles of water and a snack each for the drive. The drive to the forest actually didn't seem that long with May talking to me. We were there in what felt like a few minutes but obviously was a lot longer.
