Time to go

Soon after Eric arrived back at the house I got a phone call. It was from my fiancée May. I looked at the boys giving them a look that means I need privacy. And they all left the room.

I picked up the call and straight away I heard her voice. "Alison. Where are youuuu?" She spoke in a playful annoyed tone. "I went for a walk and it may be a bit before I am home, okie hun?" I said smiling as she let out a playful sigh. "Okie dokies cherryoky", she said in an overly playful tone. "Okie hun I will call you when I am on my way home." We said our goodbyes and hung up.

I got up, although it hurt really bad, and began to walk towards the kitchen where all the boys went. "Hey I have to be getting home to my fiancée sorry...." I said as it caught all of their attention. "Ali... You are leaving already?..." Neko said looking as if he was going to cry. "I am sorry but I have to..." I replied looking down at the ground.

"Leon and Luca mind Neko OK?" Eric said looking at the two males as they both nodded. "Good. I am going to walk Alison back in case he shows up again." Eric spoke with such confidence that it had me in awe. He grabbed me by the arm, lightly of course, and walked towards the front door.

We were talking non stop the whole way back to my car but just before I got in a question popped into mind. "Ummm Eric?" I said and he looked at me. "Where have you been this whole time? Why doesn't anyone know about Xenos death?" I asked and then another popped into mind. It broke my heart to think what he would say. "Could I come back to you guys again?" He simply nodded and walked back into the forest.

.....He didn't answer my first two questions.... Hell he didn't even say goodbye.... But I got to see him again and that's what matters. I felt genuinely happy for the first time in a few years. It was great. I decided to message May to say I was on my way home instead of call her.

The cuts and bruises that covered my whole body had disappeared as well as the plants Neko wrapped them with. It confused me how exactly it happened and when it happened but they were gone. That didn't mean the pain was though. Ever bone, muscle and nerve in my body ached.

The shock still seemed to constantly wash over me like waves. The beauty in this is amazing. Life is amazing. It really can get better then it was. Things seems to be looking up for me. Well I hope so anyways....
