Illusions (Pegasus + MCU Fanfic)

Where Are You?

I smiled as I looked around the very long and occupied table.

Its almost like the whole of Titus was invited.

Jupiter was sitting at the head of the table, along with Juno, his brothers and his father.

Next them was Emily and Pegasus, followed by Steve, Diana, Joel, Chrysoar and Paelen.

I came in a bit late as I had to do something, but when I entered I saw a spare seat in between Emily and Paelen. 

I grinned and sat down.

"Where were you?" Paelen asked, mouth already full of food.

I shrugged. "Stuff" I replied.

Paelen swallowed his mouth full and looked at me. 

"Not answering still?" He asked, almost reading my mind.

I sighed and shook my head.

"They might be doing something important" Paelen suggested, trying to make me feel better. 

"Thor? Yes. Loki? Mmm not so much. Last time I talked to him he was pretending to be our father and begging me not to tell anyone especially Thor" I answered, rolling my eyes.  

"That's... important"

I gave Paelen a look, making him sigh. 

"Look, let's just enjoy this feast then I can try to help" He said, putting food in his mouth. 

I nodded "Yeah ok"

I started to put some meals into my plate, and began eating. 

 The feast was delicious. There was a various number of meats, drinks, fruit, and many other foods, half of which I had no clue what they were.

During the feast Jupiter stood up and made a toast for Emily.

"I would like to take this moment to thank Emily, the Flame of Olympus and now a Xan, as she put her life on the line to save us and survived it!" Jupiter smiled, eyes on Emily.

Next to me, Emily turned a light shade of red and I playfully pushed her in the shoulder.

"To Emily!" Jupiter said, raising his glass.

"To Emily!" The whole table chorused, raising their glasses as well.

I raised my glass and smiled.

Then, from out of no where, my vision got all blurry and I dropped the glass onto the floor.

"Neki?" I heard Paelen faintly. 

My vision kept getting blurrier by the second.

I heard people saying my name repeatedly, but I couldn't see them.

I felt myself slipping from my chair.

I was laying on the floor, fading in and out of consciousness.

"Neki" I heard. It was a different voice this time. 

"Neki!" I heard it again. It was a familiar voice.

"Loki?" I questioned, opening my eyes.

I saw Loki standing in front of me.

This has happened before, me blacking out and everything.

I knew that I wasn't opening my eyes in reality, but in my mind I am.

"Where have you been?! Why haven't you been answering my calls?!" I asked, almost yelling.

"Where are we? Where are you! Heimdall can't see you!" Loki retorted.

"I'm on Titus!" 

"What? Why?" 

"Olympus is gone Loki!"

Loki stared at me, eyes wide.

"What do you mean gone?" He asked, voice soft.

"Gone! The big three turned the solar stream on it!" I said, trying not to let tears fall.

Loki stares at me longer, trying to search my eyes.

"Where did you say you are again?" He asked finally.

"Titus." I replied. 

He nodded. 

"We will be there soon" Loki said, starting to shimmer away.

"Wait! Loki! Where's Thor? Who is we?!" I yelled, questions coming out of my mouth.

Loki just continued to shimmer away, until he was gone.

I stood there, stunned. 

I know I was still out cold in reality and would be for a couple more minutes.

So I sat down and crossed my legs, waiting.

My eyes shot open. 

I was breathing heavily.

My vision was still a bit blurry but I could make out people standing above me.

"Wha-" 

"Neki! Thank goodness!" Emily exclaimed, hugging me.

I sat up, still feeling dizzy.

"How long was I out?" I asked my voice wobbly.

"Around an hour and a half" Joel said, crouching by my side.

"Ah crap" I murmured, trying to stand.

"Woah, woah, woah" Said Paelen, ushering me back down.

"No I'm fine, I need to get outside" I replied, grabbing Paelens hand and tossing it off me.

I tried to stand but my legs felt like jelly. 

Paelen and Emily grabbed my arms and heaved me up, supporting me.

"Why do you need to go outside?" Paelen asked.

"My brothers will be here soon" I replied, determined to walk by myself.

"Did Loki contact you?" Pegasus asked from behind me.

I nodded "Yes, and they said that they will be here soon" 

Paelen and Emily looked at eachother, before walking faster towards the doors. 

Outside, we sat and waited on a stone bench.

My eyes were scanning the sky, trying to spot any sign of the solar stream opening.

I sighed and rested my head against Paelens shoulder. 

I was tired after contacting Loki, but it was worth it. 

I closed my eyes for a split second, before Paelen jumped.

I looked at him, confused. 

He smiled and pointed into the sky.

I followed his point to find a massive ship enter the sky.

"What the..." I murmured, standing slowly. 

The ship headed towards the beach, obviously trying to find a safe and big enough space to land.

It touched down, and me, Emily, Paelen and the others ran towards it. 

I had so many questions buzzing around my head right now, but they were all shoved aside as the doors opened to reveal my two brothers...
