" What? You want to change me? Into a vampire!" I was freaked out. Even the thought of being a bloodsucker made my stomach turn ever so slightly. Why did he want to change me? Was it because he hated seeing mw like this? Was it because he still wanted to protect me? Well I knew one thing as soon as the words left his cold lips that was never going to happen. I was not going to be one of the undead.
Looking at his. Calm cold expression, I took a deep breath then relaxed calming down.
Simon that is never and I mean never going to happen. If things get worse it's best to remember how I was instead of how I am now." Simon stiffened up at the at the tone of my voice. And the way I said no. Really could tell he did not approve. But I only have one life I get to decide my date right? The thought of going home sounded good so I invited Simon to go with me. After all he did save my life. He never gave up on me.
Once we go home I swung open the door fast. Yelling out to mymom. " Mom set another place out we have a guest." Lily my sister sat at the corner laughing as soon as Simon walked in. " You look like u could use some sun there." He smiled at her his teeth gleaming in the lighvoverhead. He then said, " yes I could but it appears like sun hates me." Taking our seats around the table, my mom put down spegitti and saled. This was our go to meal if we all had a long day and did not want to spend alot of time cooking.
" So Simon, do you go to school where Jess goes? And fo you live far?" Clentching my teeth I glared at her alot, great mom ask him the hard questions. Simon however was not phased by this at all. And got to the point. " No I'm not from here I love of far and I am homeschooled."
Mom smiled sweetly, scooping dinner on her plate. Things were great until the door bell rang. A gut feeliglng telling me it was the smelly man David again. My gut feeling was telling me it was correct. Did he have to come now? Did he own a shower?
" David I am here with my family. Now is not the best time." David did not seem to care as he tried to step past my mom. I was on my way over but Simon beat me to it. " I am assuming she asked you to leave. So please do or I'll call the cops." The fear that crossed his face was unmistakable. He soon snapped out of it though. " Fine but I'm telling you this 😂 s far from over. Far from it!" My mom was shaking bad as soon Simon shut the door.
" Mom do not worry about him he's gone. He won't comeback right Simon?" Simon loooked at me then back to her. Then said sternly. " Yes that's right." But mom never budged. It was as if she stayed stuck in her Own head. But giving her a hug brought her back to me.
" Your right sweetheart, he seemed nice enough I was a fool. Simon thanks for interfering. " Mom took of to the kitchen, the three of us sat in silence. Our food getting cold none of us saying anything. Letting out mind s wander.
Turning to Simon seriously I asked, " you will take care of David right?" Simon nodded quickly. His eyes flashing wildly. With the intent of death. " May I ask how u plan to do this?" The only words that escaped his lips was. " Do you really want to know?"
In so.e weird way, I knew the answer. But I could be wrong.
" I am going to kill him. "
I was taken aback again, no I was not wrong. He had pleasure in his tone. I never knew excisted. I was scared because I knew he would. But I also had to say something.
" Simon, you cannot yes he is evil and smells but that is no reason to kill someone. Let the police handle this please. Promise me!" Simon muscled body tightened up again, but he answered me anyway. With annoyance in his voice.
" Fine, I won't. "
