Making choices

My mouth dropped open, Obsidian was one of the 6 great fallen! But I'm sure he wasn't mine, he must of arrived late for Cole, or ahsbsksjwj.
He walked over to me and nudges me, I was still as ice. This was a great beast, the one that resembles Arctica, this was insane! "H-ello?" I say reaching out to pet him. He was magnificent! The whole village started cheering at once. Some one rushed up to me "hi I'm Zerif." He smiles "Would you please join us to make the world a better place?" I looked at him I felt like I was going to strangle him, he didn't tell me who or much reason why I would join him. So I simply walked over to where Cole's and my own family stood, Obsidian followed and lit a low growl towards the strange man. Ryan looked at our parents and they nodded, I knew what it meant... I was going to join the green cloaks "Can't I stay here?" Replying "Its for the better... but at least you'll be with Ryan now." They smiled as they said the last part.
Cole looked at me with sad eyes, we were BFFOE, we couldn't be apart. "What about me and friends?" smiling Levy, Cole's father answers "Well they always will need soldiers." With that my heart leaped we were still going to be with each other. Looking at Cole I could tell he was feeling the same way. "We will be leaving tomorrow." Ryan stated.
Alex, Cole and I were walking back to the little forest, we rarely ever invited Alex with us. Alex had a sad expression while the hawk he named frostbite, flew over head "Hey, Alex what wrong?" he sighed "Well you two get to go on some magical adventure while I get stuck here with my foster parents." oh sorry I forgot to mention Alex parents died a year or so after he was born, he's had foster parents. Smiling I ask "Well, you could ask Ryan if you could join us 'They always need more soldiers'!" Cole smiled at me as I used his dad's quote, then walked over to me and whispers into my ear "Uh, would it be the best idea for him to join, what if he uh... blows up the place?" smiling I shove him a little and ran the rest of the way towards the forest.
"Hey wait up!" I heard Alex call from behind and slowly heard their foot steps disappearing. I once I was in the forest I felt Obsidian rub his fur besides me, I've heard people get special abilities along with their animal. I jumped to a limb of a near by pine tree and didn't even have to use much effort, I waved to Obsidian to hide, seconds later I heard two boys yelling "CLEO! CLEO!" smiling I stayed where I was, but Alex also had new abilities, he looked up and smiled "How's it going up there Cleo?" Smiling I jump down "How the hell did you not get hurt?!" Cole asked, I didn't want to tell him, since he didn't get an animal...
"We got some new abilities, like I can see far, she can jump high, she can probably with stand cold or something cool like that." I gave him a stare that he got immediately. Cole must of noticed "I would rather know then learn you guys kept something from me." he said with a smile. We played with Obsidian and Frostbite for a little, before heading back and asking Ryan if he could come with us.
