Was I scared? Yes. Was I excited? Yes. Did I think Hannah was insane? Definitely. Did I want her to stop? Not exactly. Can I give reasons for my above questions? It's simple, it's a blood demon.

There are no laws I know of against demon summoning, but one. Never summon a blood demon. After archdemons, Blood demons are the worst kind. They are the only higher demons that can't posses a person, and they cannot be tamed. Even Santos Cisneros, the demon lord, who was able to tame an archdemon couldn't tame a blood demon. These vile creatures would even attack their summoner. But for some reason and by some diabolic means, Hannah was going to get possessed by one. I found it baffling and hard to believe, but it was happening right in my presence.

Hannah began to mutter a spell, and as she did, tons of red-glowing unfamiliar runes began to appear all over the visible parts of her body. Cassim's staff transformed into a spear, but when he threw it at her, it destroyed. A powerful gust of wind blew past the arena as Hannah slowly levitated into the air. The spell continued flowing out of her mouth, and I felt magickal current flow from around me into Hannah. She was absorbing it. Her broken arm snapped back into its place and the wind blowing around us stopped.

"Foolish girl," Nicolas grunted when he saw what had become of her. The beautiful brunette was no more. Hannah's skin was as pale as a vampire, her brown eyes turned blood red, and her hair snow-white. Her nails were now longer and sharper and she now sported two ram like horns. Ultimately, she looked demonic.

"I still don't understand. How's this possible? How can she be possessed by a blood demon?" I said.

Nicolas looked at me for a moment and turned away. I noticed Mikoto do the same thing. "Because I created the spell," Nicolas said.

My eyes widened. "Wha...?"

"I promise, I'll explain later. But right now, I want to see how this will turn out," he said. I nodded.

With the power of the blood demon, Hannah became stronger and faster. Within five minutes, the tables turned and Cassim was already on his knees due to the hits he'd suffered from Hannah. Hannah had punched, kicked, scratched and bitten him all over his body. She was so fast, even the black mohammedan couldn't keep up with her. His clothes and various parts of his skin appeared to have been torn off, and Cassim was now coughing up blood. Even his demon monkey wasn't spared from the pain.

"You know, I remember your sister." Hannah laughed. "A very foolish girl she was."

Cassim grunted. His demon monkey had transformed back to its false face and laid on the ground beside Cassim.

"I told her to get away, truly, I did. I'd used the dragon as a carrier for a powerful curse. But she tried to save the dragon and in turn was affected by the curse." Hannah placed a leg on Cassim's head. "Do you know what her last words were?" A dark smile appeared on her bloodied lips. "Do you?"

Cassim clenched his fists tightly. His familiar used the last of its strength to transform back and it shot a fireball at Hannah but she reflected the fireball back at the creature.

"Your sister said, 'You're a demon!'" Hannah laughed hysterically. "I wonder what she'd say if she saw me like this. I'm now a real demon."

"You're forgetting one thing." Cassim chuckled. He didn't look like the same person who was coughing up blood just moments ago.

"What?" Hannah sneered as she grabbed him by the neck and raised him up.

"I am the shadow of light, I am a Midnighter." Cassim grinned. I must say, he had a very terrible smile, but I barely paid attention to it. Before Hannah could quickly end his life, he pulled out a small bottle filled with a thick red fluid and smashed it on Hannah's head. Her head instantly caught fire. She screamed and dropped Cassim while trying to put out the fire.
