Bloody hell.

Demons are sorcerers' best friend. Whoever had thought of that quote had to have surely gone mental because the demons that clawed their way towards me now didn't look friendly. Demonology was by far my best subject, after Basic Magick of course. After four years of studying Demonology, the number one basic rule stuck in my head; Don't summon a demon with a name. Thankfully, that didn't seem to be the case here. The demons that made their way towards us were lower demons, but that didn't make them less deadly, considering their numbers.

Dozens of fiery 2-foot tall skeletons erupted out of the fiery cracks in the wall and began to tear towards us at an unimaginable speed. While Ayesha created a shock wave to slow them down, the rest of us darted towards the top of the hill. With Fury in one hand and Moonlight in the other, I followed Mikoto up the hill as fast as I could.

"This would be a perfect time for someone to have Angel Lily on her," said I, thinking of the best ways to deal with our demon problem. All eyes turned to Angela, even the pale girl, Christine, had her eyes on her.

Angela scoffed. "Why're y'all looking at me?"

"Do you have any on you?" Ayesha asked.

"I'm an alchemist. Of course I do." Angela pulled out a small packet of white powder from her bra.

"Yeah. Except, most alchemists don't snuff Angel Lily like you clearly do," Mikoto muttered as she raised her sword and looked down at the fire-clad impish skeletons that were starting to make their way up the hill.

"Alright, you this Chinese wench. What I snuff or do not snuff is none of your business." Angela took a step closer at Mikoto.

"Who're you calling Chinese?!" Mikoto switched her blade's focus at Angela. Just then, a couple of the bone demons jumped up and tried to land on both of them. But the two girls were quick to react. Mikoto effortlessly cut through a few with her katana, while Angela screamed, sending a sonic wave at the demons and leaving only fiery embers behind.

"That's it," Christine walked closer with her black cat stalking behind, "I'm taking charge from here."

"Excuse you," Mikoto and Angela said.

"The Angel Lily isn't going to be enough." I finally decided to step in. My knowledge on magickal herbs might've be wonky, but I do know that Angel Lily is the bane of demons. "We need something better."

"Well, too late to make a plan now," Christine pointed out. The bone demons let out loud maniacal laughters as they carried their fiery forms towards us. I raised my sword immediately and cut through the first few that attacked me. I swung my sword around with ease and skill, and before I knew what was happening, my sword became wreathed in flames.

The minutes that followed were hellish. Even with the flaming sword and the strength of the sorceresses around me, the numbers of the bone demons just kept increasing. It turned out that the helldamned creatures weren't just good at running and laughing, they were beyond perfect at inflicting pain on us. One jumped on my back, tearing its claws down my body and cutting through my lace gown. I flung the demon aside, while trying to ignore the burning pain on my back, and crushed it. But I was too slow. Three other demons pounced on me, burning my skin with the flames that licked their bodies. One bit into my shoulder. I screamed, dropped my sword and used my free hand to yank it off my body. Despite the burning it was bound it cause, I still used my bare hands to grab hold of the other two bone demons and yanked them away.
