Chapter 8

A/N: I'm sorry this is up so late but I got sidetrack!😁. But don't worry chapter 9 will be up this Thursday on time I promise!

Sunday went by pretty fast and before I knew it it was Monday! I throw on a some mint-green skinny jeans, a white sweater, and a pair of mint-green converse.
"ALI BREAKFAST!" My mom yells from downstairs. I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"I don't have time for sit-down-breakfast today," I say grabbing a cereal bar out of the pantry.
"Okay, love you!" She says.
"Love you too!" I say with the cereal bar between my lips. I walk out the door and into my car. School literally starts in 15 minutes so I rush to school hoping I don't get a speeding ticket. Luckily I make it to school with out getting one. I open my locker to get my stuff out, then close it. Jack turns around to face me and I see he didn't forget to wear his glasses.
"Oh my god you look exactly like this boy I know, except he's too cool for school!" I say pretending that I don't know that it's him.
"Ha-ha very fun," he says rolling his eyes.
"Damn, Johnson I haven't seen you in glasses since we were doing our homework together and eating Oreos and-"
"Peanut butter on your porch," He says finishing my sentence.
"I can't believe you remember!" I say in awe.
"How could I forget," he says.
"Well I better get to calculus see you in AP English!" I say.
"K see ya," he says and we go our separate ways.
Calculus went fast and so did English, Mrs. Webster told us we are going to have a project assigned in a few weeks. Spanish was terrible because just like I expected Mallory was giving me the death glare. Lunch went good, then I went to study hall and did most of my homework and before I knew it it was time for civics. I was doodling in my notebook when Mrs. Martinez ask for our attention.
"Class we have a new student with us! Her name's Mahogany!" Mrs. Martinez says.
"Damn sexy!" I hear Sammy whisper behind me.
"Where do I sit?" Mahogany ask.
"Umm...you can sit with Alison! Alison wave!" Mrs. Martinez says to me. I wave and Mahogany comes and sits down next to me.
"Hi I'm Mahogany!" She says in a whisper.
"Hi I'm Alison, nice to meet you!" I whisper back.
"Nice too meet you too! Can I call you Ali?" She ask.
"I'd be mad if you didn't," I say. The rest of class drags on and then the bell rings finally. I walk out of the classroom and head to biology. But before I can I feel some one tap my shoulder and I turn around.
"Hi Ali, do you know where Mr. Landon's biology class is?" She ask.
"Yeah I have him next! Follow me!" I say and start walking. We walk in and she goes to go talk to him and I go take my seat. She talks to him for a minute then comes to sit with me at the lab table. I show her how to set up her binder because Mr. Landon makes it really clear how he wants it set up. I spent most of the class helping her, which was fine because she's super nice! We end up having physics together too. And at the end of day I walk out to my car.
"I know what it looks like, it looks like I'm stalking you but I swear I'm not I just need to know where 3457 Pineberry street is?" Mahogany ask. (A/N: Fake address...I hope😁)
"Yeah," I say.
"So do you know what bus I would ride? Because my mom dropped me off this morning," She ask obviously frustrated.
"Get in?" I say.
"You sure?" She ask.
"I'm sure trust me you'll hate the bus, plus I live on Pineberry!" I say.
"Thank you so much!" She says getting in the car. Once she's in all the way I pull out of the parking lot and drive off.
"So where are you from?" I ask her.
"I'm from Cali but my dad got a job here so we had to move here," she says.
"I want to move out to LA after high school and be a YouTuber!" I say then I remember talking about JJ's plans after high school but I realized my plans are no better then his! My thoughts were interrupted by Mahogany's voice.
"I want to move back out there too on my own though and maybe become a DJ somewhere!" She says.
"Looks like we're here," I say pulling in front of the address she had told me.
"Thank you so much! Do you want me to pick you up for school tomorrow morning?" She ask.
"You don't have to!" I say.
"Oh come on it's the least I can do!" She insist.
"Ok," I give in.
"Good text me the directions to your house see ya tomorrow!" She says walking into her house.
"Wait-" it's too late she's already in the house. I look over to the passenger seat and see a small piece of paper with a phone number on it, I pick it up and slide in my bag. Looks like Mahogany was one step ahead! I turn on my street and pull into the driveway.
"Anybody home?" I ask as I walk through the door.
"I'm here!" Says Casey who is sitting on the couch.
"Have you heard from mom?" I ask plopping down next to her.
"Yeah, she said that she's going to be running late plus she forgot to take the hamburgers out of the freezer to thaw out so we're just going to order pizza," she answers not look away from the T.V.
"Okay I'm going upstairs to do my homework I'll come back down later," I say getting up from the couch. I trot up the stairs and sit at my desk and get my English binder out of my bag.
"Fuck homework!" I yell in distress.
"I'M TELLING MOM!" Casey yells from downstairs. I just roll my eyes and start the homework.
After I'm done I get on twitter. I was looking at the 5SOS twitter account but I ended up scrolling through a twitter page that some freshman at our school started called westsides_best.
"Kelly Palinski for Westsides biggest slut," One of the tweets read.
"Isn't that the truth!" I say.
"Alison Hyland for biggest geek😂" another one of the tweets read.
"Nothing I haven't heard before," I sigh to myself. They had a ton more tweets like "Adam Woodley and Shay Reynolds for the cutest couple!" "Sammy Wilkinson for Westsides best tool." and much more. My phone buzzed signaling I had a text, I open the "Messages" icon and I see it's from my mom.
"Come downstairs and open the door for me" it read. I run down the stairs and open the door.
"Thanks Ali," my mom says walking in the house and closing the door behind her.
"Hi, mom!" Casey says.
"Hi Case!" My mom says taking her coat off. "Ali can you get the pizza menu off the the fridge and call?"
"Sure," I dial the number.
"Hello, Dominos Pizza! What would you like to order today?" A woman ask.
"Ummm... Hold on one second!" I say and press the phone against my chest.
"What would you guys like on the pizza?" I ask in a whisper.
"A large Pepperoni," my mom says. I lift the phone back up to my ear.
"Can I get one large Pepperoni pizza?" I ask.
"Sure that will be $15.00! What's your address?"the lady ask.
"3465 Pineberry street," I say.
"Okay your pizza should be there in 40 to 45 minutes!" She says.
"Okay thank you!" I say and hang up.
"When will the pizza be here?" Casey ask.
"40-45 minutes," I say.
"You girls can eat upstairs in your rooms tonight because I'm 4,000% done with that new girl at the law firm!" My mom says. Me and Casey start burst out laughing!
"What? Isn't that what kids say nowadays, 4,000% done?" My mom ask confused.
"Yes mom, yes we do say 4,000% done!" Casey says between laughs.
I go upstairs to my room and get back on the westsides_best twitter page but once again I end up on somebody else's twitter page. This time I ended up JJ's twitter page and saw a tweet that was a link to a vine account I clicked on it and it took me to the vine app. Turns out JJ and Gilinsky have a vine account with 400k followers and some really funny vines. But one really stood out to me it started out with JJ saying "when you see that disgusting couple making out in the hallway," and then Gilinsky faked puking with water. I was tempted to comment something but I just copied the link and texted it to JJ with a message that said: *cough cough* you and Mallory *cough cough*. I waited for him to respond and after about 5 minutes he did.

I hear the doorbell ring and my mom opening the door. She gives the man the money and closes the door.
"ALI DINNER HAS ARRIVED!" My mom yells from downstairs. I run down the stairs and into the kitchen. My mom had plates stacked on the counter, I grab one and put a piece of pizza on it.
"Thanks mom!" I say going back upstairs. I sit at my desk and eat my pizza.
I didn't realize how hungry I was until I realized that I that slice of pizza in under 6 minutes! I go take my plate back downstairs, do my nightly routine, and get in my bed. I text the number that Mahogany left in my address.

I plug my phone and go to bed. "Maybe this year won't be half bad" i think and slowly drift off into a deep sleep.
