THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BEFORE THE BIG PARTY BUT I TOOK IT OUT AND MADE THEM ARGUE INSTEAD BECAUSE I THRIVE OFF NEGATIVITY.

"I'm sorry," Cameron shook his head. "I know we've been together for weeks but I want the timing to be right and for everything to be perfect. I don't want you to feel like you have to do this because I'm in a bad mood. Besides... I think all the stress I'm under broke it."

Chloe crossed her arms and smiled a little. "Okay, fine." she leaned in a kissed him one last time. "You're such a gentleman, it's gross."

"I try," he laughed and kissed her back. "Let's go get ready for this party."

After about two hours of getting dressed -which proved itself to be a difficult task as neither of them could keep their hands off of each other- Cameron and Chloe pulled up to the party hand in hand. The lake house clearly belong to someone's father as the build of it screamed inheritance.

"Um, Wow." Chloe nodded. "I figured this would happen."

"You don't have to be a good sport about this," China shook her head. "I came here fully prepared for you to punch me in my face."

"Because that's what you would do?"

"That's exactly what I would do." China shrugged, not joking.

"I'm mostly hurt because I had no idea you didn't like me this whole time."

"It's not you. You do know that this has almost nothing to do with you, right?"

Chloe shrugged.

"Chloe I just hated that you got to have him while I fumed quietly because I was too scared to say anything."

"If you would have just told me you liked him, I would have backed off."

"Chloe, we're being honest here." Cameron folded his arms. "Be real with her."

Chloe sighed and looked down at her fidgety fingers. "I guess I kinda knew already. I suspected it. I think we all kinda knew. It was obvious. But... I didn't care because I liked Cameron too."  Chloe bit her lip. "Do you hate me now?" Chloe looked over at China.

"No, of course not. I know more than anyone that you can't really help who you fall for."

The three of them were silent for about a half  minute. "China?"

"Yeah?"

"Once we all kinda heal from this, do you think we could be friends? Like, real friends and not just two girls who put up with each other."

She nods. "I'd definitely be willing to work on that with you."

"Okay good!" Chloe hopped up from the stair she was sitting on and adjusted her top. "Well I'll see you guys at Tony's gathering tonight, then?"

"I'll be there," Cam nodded.

"Eh, I wont. I just feel a little overwhelmed. I need a bit of a mental health day... or days."

"I understand. I'll see you around."

"Yup."

"I'll see you tonight Clo." Cameron said before waving her off.

The two stood up as they watched Chloe disappear into the student union.

I JUST STRAIGHT UP HATED THIS

"I... did not know that."

"Yeah figured with both of us hitting puberty at the same time... we'd end up getting our selves in a lot of trouble. And you know my older cousin would always talk to me about how sex changes things between people and how I shouldn't do it until I was ready. But every time I was around you I just wanted to so bad. It was insane. But I knew realistically I wasn't ready for something that serious and life changing yet." Cameron looked up into her eyes. "I don't think I ever fully explained that but I also didn't have the words to do so."
