"Yo, Penis! How's your internship going?" Flash taunts Peter, shoving him into the lockers, "Oh wait, it's not real!"

Peter rolls his eyes, slips out of his grasp, and storms to Algebra. He did not have time for this shit today. He's gotten exactly 20 minutes of sleep in the past week, not to mention all the assignments he's "forgot" about. This month seemed to be criminal season; Peter didn't know what New York could've done without him. Even on patrol, the familiar burst of adrenaline couldn't stop him from feeling groggy. He just about dragged himself to class and threw himself into his chair.

———————————————
10 minutes later...

Peter is trying to pay attention, he really is, but it's just not working out. It almost helped as little paper balls hit his head once in a while, obviously from Flash. He's only half-awake as he listens to Ms. Warren drone on about linear equations.

"So, how do we calculate..."

Ms. Warren's voice fades even more as Peter's spidey sense flares. Peter taps Ned, who was sitting next to him, and whispers, "Something's gonna happen but I don't know what."

Ned looks up and meets eye contact with Peter. "Are your spidey senses going off?" he asks giddily, "... I still can't believe I'm best friends with Spider-Man, this is so COOL!" he squeals.

"Okay, yeah, yeah, but I seriously think that somethings gonna go wrong. They usually just act up for no reason but this time it feels legitimate." Peter hisses back, now more awake, thanks to the ever-insistent ringing of his spidey-sense.

They were blaring at him so loud, he couldn't focus on his notes. Eventually, it got so annoying, he just couldn't take it. He slams his pencil down onto his desk in frustration and stands up.

"Everything alright there, Mr. Parker?" Ms. Warren looks up in concern.

"Yes," Peter states bluntly. He was almost positive something was going dangerous was going to happen. His spidey senses have never rung that loud before.

Peter trudges to get a hall pass. Trying to touch it with as little of his hand as he could, he picks it up with the tip of his fingers. That little wooden slab is probably toxic, judging by the way it looks, by the way it smells, everything. It reeks of cigarettes, semen, and it is literally slimy. So, yeah, it's pretty disgusting.

But as Peter nears the door, his spidey sense turns even sharper. As his hand meets the doorknob, the annoying ringing turned straight-up painful. Jolts run up his spine.

Loud footsteps thud outside before the door slams open. Since Peter was already right against the door, he gets flung back to the wall harshly. His head smacks against the wall, leaving him dazed and nauseous. Black dots dance in his vision. A small groan of pain escapes his mouth. He slowly lifts his head to peer at the intruders. Shooters, he thought automatically. There were 2 figures dressed in black, multiple guns in the holsters on their waists. I don't think they see me...
