The new kid

Chapter 2

James POV 

There you were. Standing and talking. Just talking.Just being you. But i could see the expressions on your face. I could see the dimple on the right side of your mouth; I could see the way your hands moved when you got excited. You leaned back on your old worn out sneakers, the ones you wore all the time, cause they brought you good luck. I heard your laugh. It was short, light , like the first taste of an ice cream sandwich on the first day of summer. Everyone around you laughed, cause your laugh was the cliche, contagious. I could see the sun shining on your hair, turning it two shades lighter than it actually was. You attracted others like planets circling around you, grasping to you for life. And you were there, constant and radiating energy. And you did that, by just being you. Just talking. Standing and talking. There you were. 

" James? JAMES!" 

" w-what?" 

" you aren't thinking about the math test are you? Because your gonna ace it " angelica said reassuringly. What she didn't know was that I was actually thinking about the new kid. He was very tall and handsome and basically an overall "popular" kid.  See me and Angelica aren't really friends because i don't want "friends" well i mean I do but....I'm a big nerd so friends aren't a thing. 

Benjamin's POV

" Someone stole my mood ring, I don't know how i feel about that" Cody said jokingly. Everyone started to laugh including me. I begin to look around the room where i notice this boy and girl talking about a math test. 

"Hey guy's when is the math test?" i asked quietly because if I fail god know's whats gonna happen at home later. 

"Does it matter?" Ollie shouted over Cody making another stupid joke. 

"I mean i don't want to fail...." I retorted. Ollie stared at me and laughed.

"You're kidding! right?" Ollie asked "Or are you a nerd like them?" he pointed to the boy from earlier.

"Maybe i am! or maybe you're just an ass!" i snapped. Ollie stared at me and said "Then go" he hissed.

with tears in my eyes I walked out of class slamming the door behind me not giving a fuck if it broke off the hinges. 

James POV

"SLAM!" went the door. I turn my head to see the boy that i was thinking about earlier ran out and left.

"I'll be back." I blurted to Angelica "And if i'm not say that i'm sick and couldn't come to school." 

"Where might you be going?" Angelica questioned before I left the door. 

"I'm gonna go find that boy. Just don't follow me." i said quietly 

"OMG! YOU LOVE HIM DON'T YOU!?" Angelica screeched 

"No i don't! Now shhhh." i snapped. Then i ran out the door to find the new kid
