The new kid

Chapter 3

Benjamin's POV

 "I need to get out of here as fast as i can!" I think to myself as I run to the rooftop of the school. When I reached the top of the roof I heard the door open behind me, I swiftly turn around to notice the nerdy boy from earlier all out of breath and sweaty. I couldn't help but stare at him and take in his complexion.

"Hello?" The boy waved his hand in front of my face.

"What do you want?" i asked quietly, I was scared that he was gonna tell on me and that I was gonna get expelled.

"I asked you for your name." the boy said bluntly.

"O-oh it's Benjamin or Ben for short." I claimed 

"Nice to meet you Ben." the boy stuttered 

"What's your name?" I asked intrigued as to where this conversation would lead me 

"Oh it is James." The boy retorted back to me 

James well that's a cute name I thought to myself 

"Anyway what are you doing up here?" James said quietly, I wondered why he was so quiet but i figured it must be social anxiety or something along those lines.

"My friends were saying that I was a nerd for wanting to know when the math test was." I mumbled in hopes of him trying to be a descent human being.

James POV

"Oh the math test is during 6th period." I stammered because god was this boy cuter then I imagined.

Then the boy started to repeatedly say thank you until I questioned him why then he explained the whole situation of how his mom would kill him if he missed it.

"You're welcome for telling you." I said jokingly 

"Hey I already said it." He blushed and then said "I'll see you later James." 

"Yeah i'll see you later" I stammered back to him 

And with that he was gone....
