"What? How is this possible?"
"More than likely you jut happen to be a mix but your genetic mutation makes it difficult to get clear results"
"Can I tell anyone?"
"I don't suggest it. Only tell one person and make sure you can trust them"
"Ok"
"And since it's confusing to tell what type you are you will be taking quite a few different classes to find out what your strengths are. You should get your schedule sometime this week"
I nod, then I leave because I'm pretty sure I should go now.
I head back to the dormitory. When I get inside the room the first thing I see is Mia sitting on the floor, her back leaning against her bed, reading a book. Peacefully. For once.
"Hey Mia"
Mia looks up from her book "hey JoJo. Just a question but, can you keep a secret?"
"Yeah. I think. I wouldn't tell anyone but there is a chance that I would paint it. So it kinda depends on what kind of secret it is"
"I don't think it's something that can be painted. Unless it was painted as an abstract...anyways it's about the test results"
"Let me guess, you're supposed to keep it a secret but you feel like you have to tell someone and you've decided to trust me. Don't worry I'm in the same boat"
"Something I was told was that any kind of Inbetween that isn't pure can be more easily convinced to the wrong side. It's not the dark side though, because there can be people on the right side that have dark magic. The wrong side is the side that uses magic for bad things. Mixes and inconclusive's can be more easily convinced to the wrong side because they feel like they have to pick which kind of Inbetween they are, which they don't"
I don't know how to react to this when Mia continues on as though she never said any of it
"My result was a mix. It's actually one of the strongest mixes there can be. I have powers of light and powers of dark and I have the powers of a siren. What about you?"
I decide that I can trust Mia because she trusted me and she's not the super trusting person from what I can tell, but she is a person to be trusted.
"My result was inconclusive. Most likely, though, I'm just a mix but my genetic mutation makes my results inconclusive."
"Genetic mutation?"
"My violet eyes. What did you think I wore contacts or something?"
