It's been a week since classes started. I decide to just do some painting to celebrate getting through the first week of classes.
I set up my easel and canvas and set my paints up.
Then I get my sketchbook out to draw any ideas that I have.
"Hmm...what should I paint a picture of. Wait maybe I can do an abstract of the sunset. I haven't done one of those in a while."
I put away my sketchbook seeing as I'm doing an abstract so I don't need a drawing to refer to. Then I get a big brush out and dip it into the orange paint. Then I start painting the background.
After a while I'm starting to work on the foreground so I wash my brush, put it away, and get a slightly smaller brush and get some black paint on it. As I'm working on the foreground I hear the door open and someone come in. Probably Mia.
I continue painting seeing as the first thing Mia normally does is flop into to bed and take a nap. Or read.
All of a sudden there's a strange voice from behind me
"Nice painting"
"Um...Mia have you heard of such thing called personal space"
"Who's Mia?"
I turn around expecting to see Mia. Instead I see a girl with dirty blond hair worn in a high ponytail, hazel eyes, wearing a light gray T-shirt with faded out words, a dark purple plaid skirt, dark blue jeggings, grey-brown combat boots, a black sweater, and has white headphones around her neck.
I stand up and try not to look tense even though I know I am.
The girl extends her hand out "I'm Alla. Nice to meet you"
I don't shake her hand "um...uh...my names Joanna, but most people call me JoJo so just call me that. Um...I have to go!"
Then I run out of the room before she can respond
