(17) Baby Shower and a Surprise

It was the first weekend of November Brooklynn was in her bathroom. She was doing her hair when she felt arms wrap around her waist. She smiled as she seen Bucky in the mirror.

"I love you baby. Ive missed you." He said as he kissed her.

"Ive missed you.." she said

"You look so tired baby.." he said as he caressed her cheek when she turned around.

She chuckled "I am between class and him kicking me all night. Now my appointments are every two weeks. Im exhausted baby." She said

"But you still look beautiful baby." He said

She smiled at him "thanks.." she said as she kissed him as she put her arms around his neck.

"God baby..you drive me crazy.." he said as he rested his hands on her ass.

They started to make out against her bathroom wall. He lifted her dress then dropped his pants. He lifted one of her legs as he sucked on her neck.

She felt him push into her she gasped. "James..oh James.." she whispered.

"Oh baby thats it baby..come for me again.." he said as he got faster.

They both started come undone together as they held their gaze. "Holy fuck baby.." he whispered as they kissed.

They quickly cleaned up then headed to the girls' house since the baby shower was going to be there.

"We win Sam!" Tegan yelled

"What?" Bucky said

"We all were wondering what was taking so long. Me and Sam said sex and judging by her neck we were right." She said

They both rolled their eyes then went into the kitchen where their families were. Both families helped out with getting camo nursery stuff and then went crazy with army outfits.

Winnie and James bought them the crib. While Monica and Allan got them a bassinet and car seat. The grandparents of Brooklynn got her a glider and stroller. Bucky's grandparents got them two carseats one for Bucky's truck and one for her car.

Once they were all done opening everything. Bucky stood up "Um before anyone leaves I have a surprise for my girl..its my baby shower gift to her."

He helped her up made her stand in the middle of the room. "Brooklynn Ansley Margaret. From the moment I laid eyes on you I felt a spark the flight to Aspen we talked like old friends like we had known each other our whole lives. You had me all tongue tied a mess no girl has ever made me feel like that. I tried to fight what I was feeling I tried to push it away cause at the time it was the wrong time for us. But now I dont want to lose you ever again I dont want a life without you. I love you Brooklynn will you please marry me?" He said as he dropped to one knee.

She gasped. "Yes..oh my gosh yes.." she said as he slid the big diamond on her finger.

He stood up she grabbed his cheeks and kissed him. He smiled against the kiss. "And just so you know I asked your daddy for his blessing. And your sisters mom and the girls helped me pick out your sparkler." He said as he smiled so big.

"Its gorgeous thank you James Buchanan." She said as she wiggled her fingers.

"Hes excited.." he said as he felt Brantley kicking.

"He is always excited." She said

That night after they got the nursery together. They were dancing in the dark of the room. "Cant wait to marry you baby..have you with me all the time. Unless I have to leave for deployment again.." he said

"Again?" She said

"I have only been home 10 months baby. We hadnt been back home but a month when the girls planned the trip. We got sent out on my 20th birthday and came back just a month before." He said

"Oh wow..talk about throwing you to the wolves." She said

"Yeah." He said

They finished their dance then headed to bed.
