Chapter 13 - Face to face

Angie's POV:

Show is starting now and everyone's here. I still don't know who the hell is that Cavalcanti guy, but honestly I can't care less... I'm excited to see the kids, singing together Ven y canta with Rafa Palmer who once again swung me around a few times before the show started.

The next was Vilu and the girls, singing Junto a ti which ended up really good, then came Vilu with Supercreativa and Te Creo which is one of my favorite song.

After these me, Nicholas and the group with some students sang Euforia.

Finishing with that we had a few minutes of break and German came up to hug me tightly.

- You're amazing, you know that? - he said, grinning at me.

- I know I am - I giggled - And soon our song is coming too so be ready!

- I'm always ready - he grinned then pulled me closer and kissed me softly on the lips.

The next song was Yo soy asi with Gregorio and once again it ended up amazing! But this time we didn't kiss of course...

Anyway... When we got off the stage the count was there with a tall guy with beautiful blue eyes and blond hair. He also had a cheeky grin on his face for some reason.

- Angie, my dear... I want you to meet Marquis Andrea Cavalcanti - he said.

- What?! - I gasped.

- Don't you remember me, gorgeous? - he asked while he took my hand and kissed it - We have been talking a few times on phone around 2 years ago... You said you'll call me, but then you didn't and I missed hearing your wonderful voice... So I decided to come here to see you finally...

- Wait... You... were the one at my house... at that late night and...

- Yes, I was. Seems like Mr. Castillo told you about that... I thought he won't.

- Why?

- I could see he's too protective...

- How do you know that?

- I know everything, beautiful - he winked at me and it gave me shivers.

Luckily German appeared.

- Ah, Mr. Castillo - said Marquis.

- You again?

- Yes, I am... So what?

- You better leave Angie alone, or...

- Shut up, both of you! - I groaned.

- I'll see you later, beautiful - said Marquis with a wink then left.

I turned to face German who was clearly upset about what happened so I pulled him closer and kissed him on the lips softly.

- You always know how to calm me down, don't you? - he grinned when we pulled away.

- Yes, I do - I giggled - Now be calm...  Two more songs and our song is coming.

- Yeah, I know... And I can't wait - he smiled and kissed my head.

- Oookay... Angie, are you ready? - asked Gregorio who just came behind me.

- Yep! Let's do it!

As we began to sing I could see that grin on Cavalcantni's face which is starting to get a little annoying, but I decided to ignore that, focus on German and do my best to this duett to be perfect.
