Chapter 17 - True happiness

Angie's POV:

- .... Will you marry me? - German asked me while he knelt down in front of me and I just couldn't hold my tears back.

- Yes! Yes! Yes! - I cried out in happiness as I jumped into his arms.

I could see he was in tears as well. He slide the ring on my finger, picked me up in his arms, making me to wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck he kissed me passionately on the lips.

- I love you, future Mrs. Castillo! - he said as we broke the kiss - I love you sooo much!

- I love you too, Mr. Castillo! - I laughed - I can't wait to be Mrs. Castillo!

- I hope so because after the wedding you can't rid of me anymore - he joked - Are you sure you're ready to that?

- I'm totally ready - I smirked - But are you ready to bear with me for the rest of your life?

- Babe... I'm more than ready - he grinned, kissing me again on the lips - My angel... You're the best thing that happened to me and the wedding will be even better...

- I totally agree - I giggled happily.

- Now... shall we go home? - he asked, now putting me down

- Yeah, I think so - I replied.

After we arrived home we took a shower and layed down in the bed.

- When will we tell the others? - I asked him.

- Whenever you want to - he replied - But we should do it tomorrow as soon as possible.

- I agree...

- Don't worry - he said, wrapping his arms around me - They all will be happy for us... Atleast I know Ramallo for sure!

- Oh really? - I giggled.

- Yes... Because he was the one who told me to do this even if I'm afraid that you'll say no.

- You have been afraid? - I looked up at him.

- Yes... - he admitted - I was afraid that you're gonna say no...

- Aww... - I smiled at him and snuggled to him - But I said yes... And I'm not gonna change my mind for anything, or anyone...

- That's good - he smiled, kissed me softly then soon after that we fell asleep.

The next morning when everyone was at the dining table I looked at German who just nodded towards me then stood up first.

- We have something to tell you, guys... - he started.

- Go ahead, German - said Ramallo, looking like he knows what German is about to say.

- What is it, dad? - questioned Vilu.

He then took my hand and made me stand up too and he continued...

- Well, we're...

- Engaged!! - I finished his sentence and everyone stared at us surprised for a long moment then Vilu was the first who came to hug me.

- That's amazing!! Congratulations guys!! - she said, hugging me tightly then she hugged her dad too.

- Mr. Germaaaaan! - Olga cried and hugged him - I'm so happy for you!!

- And me too - said Ramallo.

- Thank you! - me and German said at the same time.

I went to the Studio later on where Cavalcanti was already there with Edmond and Haydée. As soon as she noticed me she ran up to hug me.

- Angie! - she cried.

- Hello, beautiful - I said as I hugged her back - How are you doing? I haven't seen you for so long now!

- I'm happy to see you! How are you?

- Can't be happier than now!

- Oh? You're that happy to see me? - questioned Marquis who walked up to us with the count.

- Eh? Well... I had the perfect date last night with German - I said, trying to make him jealous, but I couldn't tell if he feels anything like that.

- You seem really happy - said Edmond - What happened on that date... if I may ask of course?

- Well... He proposed me!

Everyone gasped.

- I'm so happy for you! - said Haydée happily.

- Congratulations, Angie! - said Edmond too.

- Thank you! - I said, smiling.

Marquis didn't say a word, he was just standing in the back, smiling which was really suspicious, but I didn't care. I was so happy that no one could turn me down with anything and I couldn't care about anything, but the happy things.
